@@bbkg1979 there's a huge difference between the two. Maria has been a loyal Agent by Fury's side for many many years, the two of them are very close and on first name basis (Fury literally says in Winter Soldier that the only person he trusts is Maria Hill). Rhodey on the other hand isn't even among the top 3 most trusted Avengers to Fury, he's just one of the only original ones left (Hawkeye, Hulk, Rhodey).
Uhhhhhh… Maria Hill was shot and killed. And did NOT revert back to a Skrull. Not sure how we are overlooking this here.

I thought his limp was being caused by not being on Earth for so long and his body was adjusting to gravity...
He was walking normally inside SABER. I think it's safe to say SABER has a gravity level akin to earth.
I think that's still the case but there could be something else that we don't know yet.
Still could be some strange event happening after we saw him on SABER, so yeah, been a while plus he not the youngest.

I think Fury's canary trap is his assertion that he can't differentiate Skrulls in disguise from humans. I bet his glasses actually can. Fury living for decades without solving for that? Nah. He has tech that, having kept it secret, protects broad discovery of the Skrulls while allowing only him to actually know.😢

I'm very glad it's a TV series instead of a film. You can build up characters and stories for future films/TV series as well.
When Skrulls die they go back green. Hill died & stayed a human. And they shot a funeral type heartfelt moment just to be like “sike” nah. 🤦🏽♂️
To be fair they did that on agents of shield, had Fitz die with Mack and may crying as he passed, showed Mack telling his wife and even made it look like they were having a funeral just to go say he’s actually still alive he just stuck in space.

In Captain Marvel, they used a scanner to identify the what species Goose and Fury were. Danvers could have given Fury same or similar
Honestly, I like the idea that Hill was (or is still) a Skrull. And that the moment Fury landed on earth, he knew that anyone could be a skrull and he couldn't trust no one. So what MT said about Maria Hill is not farfetched because it's possible that Hill may still even be alive. Or maybe MT is also a Skrull and he is just throwing us off so that we won't be suspicious.
MT is probably a Skrull making his own canary trap...lol.

I seriously hope Maria isn't just a Skrull who faked their death. I like the idea of them showing serious consequences and that no one is safe from dying (nothing annoys me more in a franchise then when every character has "I can't die" plot armour).

As a follow-up comment, the chess game seemed forced in a way that they were trying to figure each other out. But since Hill called out certain details, it makes me wonder if it was one way the real Hill and Fury would communicate knowing they were watched.

I’m pretty sure Talos is a Skrull… I’m also sure that he isn’t Fury’s friend. I think Ryan Arey might be right and Talos is the architect of the secret invasion.
The only things I'm sure is Talos will do his investigation, Fury will do his own, and everything else is a mistery.
Rhodey went back in time in a quantum tunnel. Even a skilled Skrull would be hard-pressed to maintain their shapeshift form when affected by Pym particles and traveling in and out of quantum space.
So it's been the real Rhodey... up to now, at least.

I feel he's been a Skrull since the end of Civil War. We don't know how they maintain their shape-shift . Could be as long as they're conscious.
I think Fury is a Skrull. He is just blending in to to keep the "Few" Skrulls a secret. That is why he never found them another home, he like how Earth works and thinks hiding as humans is worth it for the Skrulls.

I just re watched episode 1. Starting to think Maria Hill was a traitor and possibly Talos. Pagon gets intel that Fury is old, can barely see out of his good eye and walks with a limp. Up until pagon saying that Maria hill is the only person who saw him limp
Plot twist - Fury is a scroll that's locked in a civil war battle against the infiltrating skrolls while the real fury is hiding. To differentiate the two he has the limp. Boom. Mic drop.
