    Everyone got a great deal, I just bought my P2000 for $850. I know it’s pandemic prices but I have been eyeing it for a while, had to get it.

    Just purchased the same gun late last week. In California, so waiting for it to be shipped and then the long 10 day wait (DROS). I have some nice handguns, along with 3 Glocks (19, 30SF, and 26), but prior to purchasing this handgun, I bought a HK P2000 SK w/LEM trigger (V2). What a REVELATION! I wont even try to describe the LEM trigger, except to say that the first DA shot is unlike any DA first shot I have ever experienced . . . in a VERY GOOD WAY. That being said, I wanted to also experience the V3 P2000 with decocker. Here's the kicker, I was able to buy it brand new for approximately $600 (price match, plus 1%). In any event, I can't say enough about HK quality, fit, and finish. Particularly impressed because this is not a steel or aluminum alloy gun, but a polymer. You just have to experience it. I love my Glocks, particularly my 30SF, but these HK firearms shout out quality. By the by, great review . . . 'Nuff said.

    Great review. I recently got a brand new P2000 9mm v2 LEM trigger. Great pistol. Overlooked, and under appreciated, for sure. The "DE" stamped on the side, is a abbreviation for "DEuetchland." (Germany)

    Super informative, thanks for the review! I just got my permit in CA yesterday and picked this gun too!
    Initially, I wanted the S&W Shield Plus however I’m left handed. This gun is ambidextrous so it’s easier for me. Can’t wait to pick it up and start practicing with it!

    My local FFL sold me mine this march for brand new 450. He said "I gotta blow these boat anchors out, they are just sitting here". Needless to say I couldn't say no.

      Wow. That’s a steal. I love this pistol but it doesn’t get much love. As far as H&K goes I don’t think this pistol sells as well as their other pistols. H&K makes quality and to get one of their pistols for $450 is awesome. You will be happy with it!

    Just bought one of these in 9mm, V3 13round mag from Cabelas, on sale for $590, went to the range....I love it and so will you, the mag release is very nice. I own a Glock also but thought I’d try something else.

      I love the P2000 but I also love my Glock 19. The only thing the Glock has over any DA/SA is the same trigger pull every time. But for a DA/SA pistol the P2000 is very nice and I actually like it better than some of the Sigs I have fired.

    • @flatheadfletch
      @flatheadfletch 2 года назад +1

      Iv owned Glocks for decades. The P2000 and sk variant snatched me away from my living Glocks. The lem trigger pull is the same every pull and has double strike capability which the Glock does not. The HK P2000 lem is the most reliable fastest shooting edc you can own. IMHO

  • @TheBoxingCannabyte
    @TheBoxingCannabyte 6 лет назад +7

    I'd like to note my P30SK DA/SA shoots as well as my P220 and P226 both with DA/SA SRT triggers, the gun really is an "enigma gun" in many ways (Both the P2000 and P30SK). I got a lot of time on the G19 both in and out of the field (and the M9, and USP and 1911). While I prefer the 1911 to this day and am going back to carrying it for duty this fall, I still love my HKs (and SIGs but if I'm being honest I prefer HK, and im kinda weird about polymer guns generally prefering metal. Just like the feel of it.) HK's polymer has a better feel than most other poly-framed pistols I've owned or held and I've owned/held quite a bit
    and underrated gem is the SIG SP2022 btw

  • @TheBoxingCannabyte
    @TheBoxingCannabyte 6 лет назад +11

    Even though I own mine in LEM and love it, I'd probably recommend the DA/SA to most people, but I'd want everyone to try the LEM, however. I think it's truly superior to a striker-fired pistol for defensive carry, and is an interesting pistol to do compact pistol competitions with against my buddy's Taran Glock 19 (I won, btw, but I have military training and extensive experience with all of these pistols in spite of the eye problem, cross-dominance helps thankfully)

    • @SpicyRok7482

    When a bunch of us friends got together to do some shooting I tried the p2000 v3 and I had a really good feeling when i shot it. SO i shot it some more and more......
    I actually liked it alot I knew I had to have it lol
    Ergonomics matched perfectly with my hand and having shot thousands of rounds thru my p30 i knew it was a match.
    Everything felt comfortable when shooting this pistol, even mag changes were a breeze not being all that familiar with the euro paddle release.
    Offered cash at first......no luck, so I took a chance and had my buddy shoot about 150rd thru my G26 gen 5 and he was impressed with it and was actively looking for a replacement for his shield 9..........so we settled on the glock and few mags for it.
    I think it was worth it tenfold...I still have a G26 gen 3 so it was a win win 💪

      Shoots better than the P30 how?
      I really want a P2000, but I kinda want a P30 too even though shooting a rental was the worst handgun experience I ever had. It was hella snappy in .40 SW, my thumbs forward stance scraped my thumbs from the sharp accessory rail and worst of all my trigger finger was constantly getting pinched from the mag release, even when placing as little finger as possible on the trigger. The P2000 seems like it would remedy this. I've seen that it even recoils less somehow than a P30. Yet, I really want a P30 still lol. Why does the P2000 shoot better for you?

    I bought my P2000 9mm in May 2020 in the thick of the corona pandemic for $749 new.. It 's stamped CA so manufacturer date is 2020. I feel like I overpaid because the night sight version online is $750 and the 3 white dot is $650 but I like this gun. I bought it in my city and my options were limited because the gun stores were flooded and the wait to get in was long.

    The p2000 is easily one if not the best carry pistol on the planet. The only pistol i would carry more than this one is the HK p30. But because the p2000 is a littlr smaller, the p2000 makes for a better carrybbn pistol.

    This and the SIG Scorpion 1911 are my favorite carries (carry this in a V2 LEM .40, I prefer 9mm generally but couldn't pass the .40 up and wanted a .40 in my collection again). I own a USP .40, a P30SK, SIG P220 Carry (love that gun), my M9 and a 92FS, G19, G26. but at the end of the day the P30SK and P2000 are my absolute go-to carry pieces (though my SIG 1911 Scorpion is really winning me over, I love the 1911 but got a bad back so, shoulder-holster carry for me which means re-learning my draw)

    BH is your year of Manufacture yours would be 17 or aka 2017. The DE is, as others pointed out the Country of manufacture which is Germany. You could also get a extended magazine paddle release. I put it on my USP Compact which is the same gun that you have there. Yours is of course the modern take on it with the ambi slide release, removeable backstraps and the decocker lever moved to the rear.

    Thanks for the great video. In my experience, it's not under-rated at all. It's just not a Glock or a Sig. There are too many people that either don't know pistols like they claim to, are given incentives to sell certain guns or are just into the Gucci popularity of firearms. I do like Sigs, yet they tend to be heavy. Glocks are good, just don't like the grips. That H&K though is definitely my next gun list since shooting it.

    • @2ndamendmentusa425
      @2ndamendmentusa425  6 лет назад +4

      Very similar to the USP compact except for the safety/decocker on the USP. I personally am not a big fan of safeties on guns and the placement of the decocker on the p2000 is in the back and out of the way. That along with price is the reason I went with the P2000. USPs are very nice guns.

    • @TheBoxingCannabyte
      @TheBoxingCannabyte 6 лет назад +1

      It is like a thinner, more well-fitting USP. You can fit USPc magazines into it, in fact. I bought a few (They fit flush, but give you 2 more rounds in .40 and 3 more in 9mm i believe) it's basically a USP 2.0. You got replaceable backstraps as well.
      Can't go wrong with either, to me if I got another USPc or P2000 it'd come down to this: Price, and if I really want the LEM trigger (Which is kinda harder to find on a USPc but not impossible). I've really, really come to believe in the LEM trigger VS Striker for a gun with no safety function or DA/SA function.

    • @MybeautifulandamazingPrincess
      @MybeautifulandamazingPrincess 4 года назад +1

      I have the USPc in 9mm, the P2000 is newer than the USP, it's like a slightly upgraded design, it branched from the USP, however the USP continues to be an amazing gun and you can't go wrong with it!

    Think of country codes like our State abbreviations. Some seem odd to us, because the native name of a country is dissimilar to the English name for it. Germany to Germans, for example, is Deutschland (DE). Switzerland is CH (I've never figured that one out). Here's a list:
