The Smooth sides on the grip are so that when you’re carrying it you don’t have a super aggressive texture digging into you. The P2000 screams ergonomics and practicality. It’s almost as if H&K took all the best features of many different handguns and crammed it into one platform.
Ps. Nothing wears on these guns. It’s flawless. Not picking a little rattle. This gun will save your life in that second you need it. Better than any gun I have owned. I’m 61 and Iv owned all the top guns. P30 226 P99 ect. P2000 with LEM trigger IS the best edc gun I have ever owned and now it’s the only gun I own. Flawless ! Natural point of aim !

@@broskoone Got mine for around 660 on gunbroker. I wouldn’t pay anything more & honestly I probably overpaid. It’s a quality pistol but there isn’t a ton of aftermarket support when you compare it to a Glock or 320
@@broskoone it is expensive, for certain. But, you are getting a supremely durable and reliable pistol with a high level of refinement for a polymer combat pistol. If I still lived in CA and needed 1 handgun, I would not hesitate, IMO.

@@JuggernautKickboxing Read up on the differences between the V2 and V3 on HK forums. Some of those guys say one shoots more like your typical glock than the other (I think it's the V2 LEM trigger variants).
It's not quite like a glock. It is described that way only because it is the same trigger pull every time. However, I find that the first shot being longer and heavier allows for a faster first shot without the risk of a premature discharge like with a glock. However trigger length is more important than weight.
There is no tool I'm aware of my p30l does the same thing.does not not hinder performance just annoying mostly and for the price you pay for their weapons it should not exist
The SK magazine is too short to engage the P2000 magazine retention pawls. The P30 magazine will work with either the P2000 or P2000SK but there will be a gap between the magazine floor plate and the end of the grip.
This was a poorly prepared review. The reviewer went back and forth in his explanations, thereby confusing the facts and leaving the listener in doubt as to what he was trying to say. He seemed to know the pistol but he was unable to present his knowledge smoothly. Prior preparation could have made this a more fluid presentation.
@@flatheadfletch , so why did it take you two years to respond? Do you read that slowly? My opinion whether you like it or not. By the way, I am a conservative, but I don’t think you would know the difference.
If you unload the gun, and shake it really really hard, it makes a noise. Okay - I'll try not to do that in the event I should need this pistol to defend my self. What a goofball. :P Stopped watching after that point.
Doesnt know shit? You dont even know the difference between tolerances and clearance. Tolerance is a manufacturing term, dumbass. The slide release lever doesnt have to move at all according to HK customer service. But thanks for the armchair commando input.

The P2000 shares magazines with the USP Compact of the same caliber. My 40s both fit the same custom holster.
Man really good points that a lot of other videos are not mentioning, great review

You can remove the right side slide release when you breakdown the gun for cleaning.
Very good review. Enjoy your channel. My P2000SK runs great. I appreciate your honest reviews.
Best breakdown I’ve seen. I was in a similar situation with a p30 but ended up looking into a p2000. Just nabbed a new in box of these.
Sweet boy, can I ask what you paid? Store in California has a nice green one with night sites they want $975. Seems way high to me.

The right side slide release can be simply pulled off . I saw it done on a vid done by Kilo 1 HKP200 V3 40S&W .
I'd enjoy seeing a demonstration on the range with the HK P2000.
How would you compare the p2000 to say, a Glock 19 with regards to how it shoots, trigger, etc?
Different. If you suck at shooting then both are gonna be hard to shoot
doitriteak But does it noticeably feel better than a glock?

@@doitriteak good to know, thanks.
I still prefer the USP compact. It just feels more rugged.
It might be. There certainly is something sexy about the USP
It is more rugged. It's just a little tank of a pistol.
Love my usp compact in 45
Why not get a tool and tighten the slide release. Probably just a little loose.
Thin strip of velcro on the inside surface of the slide release and U are golden.

Anyone know of these mags fit the uspc9mm with no modification?
They are interchangeable with the usp9c
Late to this video but how is the recoil
Incredibly mild all around
Will a p2000sk magazine fit a p2000 9mm
A compact mag in a full size mag well?
@@doitriteak you think a p30 9mm will fit the p2000, i am having trouble finding p2000 magazines haha
