TENCH FISHING IN SUMMER - 60 acres can we catch

- We're fishing a big lake of 60acres to try and catch some late summer tench. It's my first time ever on this venue ... so the question is CAN WE CATCH!? I use tried and tested methods that I know work so I'm optimistic about getting amongst them!
The session doesn't go entirely to plan and is a realistic view of what it's like when you rock up at a new venue. We're currently enjoying an extended summer and so why not make the most of it and a bit more tench fishing in before the weather turns!

Nice to see a video that's honest and talks about it not always working. I had a similar situation with the Rudd recently.
Definitely don’t always get it right! Learnt a lot to take into any future sessions there though. The Rudd were all over me!!!

Ive caught one small golden tench , but only small they are an amazing colour .

Superb video my friend I’ve really wanted to do some tench 🐠ing with exactly the same tactics that you’ve used got a cracking very similar lake not far from me but I’ve become a bit obsessed with my zander fishing lures and dead’s on midland canals been doing well this season maybe there’s still time for tench before the summers out

Nice video, and it’d be boring if it was easy! I think the experimentation and learning is at least half the reason we do it…

I’ve caught big cats in France and Spain, but not fished for them much in the uk tbh.
