I target Tench this time of year, sadly here in Devon we dont have the monsters of the east. Regarding time of day. I photograph every Tench over 3 lb I catch, for one reason ... so I can refer to the time of day which is stored with the photo in my phone. I do the same when i target big perch in Winter. I notice patterns ... for example most of my bigger Tench on one target water always come around lunch time. Without fail. On another water, with Perch alway between 5 and 6pm. Its a very interesting exercise.

Great video, always a pleasure to hear from Dai. My one minor gripe would be that these interview videos are always super quiet, I have to turn the volume right up on the TV which is fine until an advert cuts in and it suddenly goes from a whisper to a scream.

Thanks for the feedback. We can certainly look into increasing the volume in future episodes :-)
