Don't apologise for the tench videos waving them monsters Infront of camera is good viewing.
At the moment I'm only here for the pike and tench videos.

Hi Mark as always lovely vid and appreciate the effort you must put in to bring the final product for our enjoyment.
Interesting groundbait, what would be a general guide for the amount of molasses per mix.
Cheers.
Glad you enjoyed it. I dont measure it but tend to approximate it, albeit i do mix mine and thin it with water.
Cracking session mark thanks for sharing 👌

I will drink lots of fluids the night before i go fishing, hopefully i will get decent bites whilst away from my rods busy emptying my bladder. Lol. Hope i am as successful as you mark. Cracking specimens. Take care mate.

Very enjoyable mark, back in the 90s I used to use black treacle in my ground bait, still works today.
That is a very good shout hmmm.
Great angling once again mark
Cheers Paul, love sharing the videos as always.
It might be a good idea for you to show people how to safely air inject worms.
Another bunch of quality chunky fish. Im starting to think you don't catch small ones.
Hah thanks mate and yes sometimes it is larger fish!
Fair Dues Mark tank of a Tench kind regards Mr D
Thank you Mr D!
Buddy back to an old video, just how do you set up you lift float rig. Do you have a fixed weight on the line, or one of your run rigs? What size weight's do you tend to use, and floats?
Richard on my recent lift method video I use a swivel with a the shot on a rotten bottom.
alien tenches 👏👏👏
How many kilograms is the largest?
Thank you! The largest was 4.365 kilo 9lb 10 ounces
Hi Mark do you water the molasses down before you add to the ground bait please cheers mate
Hello there Peter I add mine in neat but there is water i have already added to the groundbait too.
Thank you for replying mate I will try this the next time I get off
Hi Mark, the molasses you're talking about. is that a syrup.
Because I work in a candy factory where we also have this dark syrup. Thought they might work like that too
Yes like a Black sugary syrup, used also in animal feed for horses.
Don't forget if you pee down your leg it only stays warm for 10 seconds lol.
Trust me !!!!!!!!!!
LOL
Mark how much do you rate the shimano tele spin and what strength line are you using on the reel
Pat they are superb little rods for compact fishing, albeit casting weight maximum is at best 1.5, maybe 2oz if your are careful. The line on the reel is 10lb mate.
Not exactly sure what u mean with the low resistance running lead. What size is it? Looks pretty small. I like to go as max resistance as possible to ensure proper hooking but so often see such light set ups work just as well. Also what is the depth at that distance? I read prime depth for tench is 7-8ft
It's a Gardner target run ring. Your quoted optimal depths for tench is very much a one size fits all term and not something I overly adhere to as feeding areas on lakes can vary a lot more than just one set preferred depth, be that based on time of year, weather, thermoclines etc. This particular lake is up to 15 feet in some areas, this particular area though I was fishing on a gravel bar around 6 foot.
Wow mark what an absolute blinder of a session and some amazing fish. Well done buddy and love watching your fishing videos. All the best to you and the family and take care and look forward to the next video. 👍😁🎣
Thank you so much John will pass that on to my mum and brother.
@@francolinobasco nice one, Mark.👍😉
Just fantastic Mark very well done sir.I've only just started commenting on you tube but I've seen loads of your superb uploads. In fact I was on the Severn at Highley just last week (I Know you've fished there) and I Nearly went in the banks are so slippy now. Just fantastic all round fishing thanks for taking the time and trouble to upload, just keep doing what your doing many thanks.
Many thanks Mark! Cheers for commenting as it does honeslty help the channel grow. The banks at Highley are very much like ice at times, I nearly went when dad and I fished there lol.
