This video really helps a lot. My scoot recently stop working and I brought it to the service center. The service center informed me that my scooter's warranty is voided due to liquid damage and was charging me for control board and battery replacement costing at around 250usd which is too expensive. After watching this I tried to diagnose the parts by myself and It was just only a bms error. I just reset the bms and it works. Thank you for sharing your knowledge

You should name the specific service center and its location so they can have pride in the fact they are ripping people off. (Assuming you thoroughly tested the scooter and this was the only issue).

Great Video and Good explication about troubleshooting a faulty battery . You can get the rest off the cells unbalanced gest beacouse it’s impossible to perfectly match used cells with new cells . But you can grab out a good cell and make a discharge test and see how many mAh you can get and after that you can put new ones or used ones as close in capacity possible .

Good job on the spot welding, I was wondering if you would do that! It's difficult for me to suggest to anyone to attempt to solder these batteries. Depending on how long the "bad" cells were totally discharged for it might be possible to recover them. I have had luck with using a lab bench power supply to bring them slowly up to around 2.9v and then using an intelligent charger set to 100mA to go to their storage charge voltage. By this point I'd strongly recommend if the cells do take charge at this point that you then sit them for a couple days and regularly test the cell voltage to ensure they are not internally shorted before then fully charging them at their rated charging current. These cells of course may not be quite as reliable as new cells due to the over-discharge but again, I have had super good luck recovering flat 18650 cells this way.

and from 160 + wh batteries are not allowed at all.
I read new TSA information that :
" One spare Lithium battery, not exceeding 300 watt hours, or two spare batteries, not exceeding 160 watt hours each, are permitted in carry-on bags. "
:) If that's true, the problem is solved as the Xiaomi is 280 wh !! : )
So I'm asking what is the best way to flight with the Xiaomi M365 ? just simply separate the battery ? to divide the battery to 2 so that every battery will be 140 wh and get the airline approval ?
Thank you very much for your Reference brother !
    Wish you the best

Are the screws to access the battery compartment Torx T10 or something else? Thank you

The screws for the bottom battery cover plate are indeed Torx T10. Cheers.

Hi, if I need to replace 12 cells, do I need to disconnect the BMS? or I can just remove the faulty cells, replace with the new once, and charge them to balanced 4,2v?
    Thanks, great vid btw!

Ciao ti volevo chiedere un tuo parere visto che mi si è allagato il garage dove c'era anche il mio m365 e non parte più. Secondo te cosa potrebbe essere? centralina o batteria da sostituire? ti ringrazio

Hello there. Your batteries' amperage is 10a. Can I put a higher amperage battery for the pro 2 instead of 10a? 3.7v.

Recently bought a dead m365 and I'm only measuring 2.7V on the main connector... Safe to assume I got some loose connectors in there

Great repair video but a bit overkill, you might as well just get a new battery than mess around with a new BMS, replaced cells, external chargers, if doing 1-2 repairs its not even worth all the tools, just buy a new scooter lol.
For battery issues I usually replace the entire battery pack before replacing part by part.
