    Positive side of the cells. Stick a pin through the membrane, you will hear gas pressure leave the cell, make sure it's not over 4.2 volts, and they work again. Don't tell regular people this. Your vids are awesome.

      Lol np Paul and yeah I've figured that out in those Lipo packs but no way I'll tell others to do that. it is a Lil dangerous if you don't know what you're doing and I'm not using them anymore period. I'm sure you know also even if it's a pin hole if water finds its way in they're that's another problem. would I still use them on RC cars or other electronics absolutely, will I be using them on my bike in my battery compartment next to another huge bomb lol Nope. it will still produce that gas and now it's will be leaking into my battery compartment so not putting my ass on a flammable bomb Hahahaha. I appreciate another Homey from the streets, guess what surviving those streets I definitely don't Wana be taken out now by a battery. lmao be cool Homey! PS what made you say stick a pin in them in this video as this was about lithium batteries. I understand that comment on some lipo packs but I'm sure you meant lipos as your not sticking no pin in these unless you trying to kill me or yourself

    Respect because that’s the most important thing because it’s not about us at this point especially I’m electric bike rider I would not want anybody to take any shortcuts and then I run into a problem like overheating or even worse and you know what they even worse is I have a situation with mine. It’s just a shut off when I’m riding. It’s a new battery 48 V 20 amp. I bought it to a bike shop to get fixed meaning for them to install it this new battery for me they tested it. They put it in, but how they put it in. I don’t agree with I might have to take it somewhere else because the wires didn’t match the wire from the charging port. The wire that came out the charging port didn’t match the wire that came out the battery. They had two different connectors so with the guy in the E bike shop was sliced the wires off of one battery use that wire as the charger wire for the other battery I didn’t mind But I told them to solder it. I watch what they were doing. They didn’t solder it. They wired it together and put electric tape around it and put electric tape around it and charge me five dollars now I don’t know what they charge me five dollars. I didn’t think it was gonna be an issue because I thought the E bike shot knew what they were doing. That’s why I bought it there. I could’ve did that myself, but I did a Kapacity test this morning this thing zips my electric bike moves quicker and the battery last longer 100% but then I hit that full throttle to go up that hill and I guess the BMS wouldn’t let me Get that far. The power just cut the power just cut off so I walked back to my house and then I watched a video so I plugged the charger in a wall and then I plugged the charger into my bike for five seconds took the charger right back out of the bike And the power was right back on and the battery still full charge so I’m thinking what they did by no soldering and doing it the right way, and making the connections, secure and strong not with electric tape I’m not a battery expert and I’m just asking for your opinion on what I should do?

Was able to bypass the BMS and probe the battery successfully with the help of this video. My tester lite up like a Christmas tree. Next step is a BMS replacement. Hopefully all goes well on this phase of the project. Just wanted to say thank you for the knowledge.

      yeah I say take the old one off and slice it on to the new cable for now temporarily, if you can unsolder it do so and solder it on the new one if it's crimp like I said cut the wires long enough you can twist them together and tape well. Do that just to get going but order a new plug the correct one and do it right or have someone that can.

      if you're clueless yes I concur stay in your lane, besides Edgar are you gonna do? tell the people that bike these abs their own not to build them? it repair them. They're are people qualified to do both and they're are some people that should just ride and bypass these DIY videos all together. Sounds like your in the second group so that would be fun your standpoint and sounds like your right where you should be. I'm a electronics tech, a real one not a back alley guy so I make these videos to teach those that do have the skills and the aptitude a safe way to do so but I agree, if your just a hobbiest and don't have a clue. Please don't do what I do. I say that all the time. also the BMS and the battery are two different components, BMS blow all the time, that does not mean the entire battery is shot, the battery makes love guys that would buy a whole new battery because of that, so do I

    • @LetArtsLive
      @LetArtsLive 2 года назад +2

      @@ChrisCrossingWires1212 no I'm not a tech guy. But I'm not exactly Clueless. And when I went to go look for the second video I couldn't find it cuz I can only be back to 7 months back on your videos. I'd like to know how you know what group I'm in? Cuz I'm in the group that has to fix their own stuff cuz they can't afford to buy new stuff. Good thing it had the BMS or the garage would have burnt down. Just because I'm very scared of battery fires doesn't mean I'm in the second group you mentioned. I'm the kind of person that has one leg and was thinking about getting a wheelchair and got the bike instead.. I'm the kind of guy that rode my bike 30 miles to the lake with one leg cuz it's electric. I was kind of hoping you would say send me the battery so I can fix it because what I've read about fth there are hidden fees. I'm trying to find out I emailed them. So I have a question if I do not buy the right battery charger but it's the right bolts 54.6 and it's a crappy one can it burn up my bike battery kill the BMS or whatever it did I got to learn how to do this. I know one thing it's not the fuse and I did not break the seal yet but I'm thinking about it cuz I don't want to pay all that money to send it back and then have them tell me some stupid story and then it'll cost more than a new battery when they should just be sending me the BMS so I can put one in but if I put one in do I have to start it somehow or reset it or something? I was watching your videos for quite a long time. I don't know what kind of music you like but I got a lot of music on my channel and then RUclips sucks they're all about getting the money and I just wanted to do videos and they will tell me things like a song I made was copyright protected things like that bands play a song a cover song and then RUclips will say it's copyright violation cuz it's a song by The Rolling Stones or something and they put ads on it and I don't like ads. You should not underestimate people because they might know something you don't

      I am Dan in Batavia New York. I have an eco-trick hammer e-bike. I bought a battery from fth which is supposed to be guaranteed for 2 years. It will not be guaranteed because I bought an aftermarket charger cuz I was stupid. So I don't know if I want to pay the $60 to send it to them when they're going to tell me I f***** up. I figured it would shut off I left it plugged in for a week. I went to get my bike to go pay bills cuz that's my only transportation. My bike would not turn on. Well the battery has an RCA plug and it Sparks every time you go to plug it in. But I think I screwed up cuz I left it plugged in so long and it smells burnt and it's not the fuse I know that. My bike works with the other battery that came with it. I wanted more batteries for more range and less range anxiety. I really believe one of the cells must have burned or the BMS burned cuz something smells really burnt like electrical burn. Too bad you don't live near me LOL maybe that's what it is the BMS.
