I couldn't have listened to this interview in a more precise time, it talked to me, it opened my eyes.
I think that everyone needs to listen to this on a frequent basis to know how much they're worth and stop putting off with crap and taking breadcrumbs, as he said, just because it hurts, it doesn't mean it was the wrong decision.

you are so spot on about how hard it is to let go of someone who isn't a bad person. I have found it extremely hard to get over him because I can't hate him. But now I know moving on is not about him, it is about me.

After about a year of dating, I was dumped by a man who knew I wanted more commitment (even though I had lied and said I was cool with casual) and he was not ready for a long-term, committed relationship. Though the break-up was very painful for me, he did me the biggest favor in the world. He cut me loose and stopped me from wasting my time on him. He’s a wonderful person, but the wrong time is the wrong time. Period. I am with someone now who is not only wonderful, but also wants a committed relationship- and I wouldn’t have found this amazing person had it not been for the kindness of my ex.
Thank you for sharing. Gives me courage to do the same for myself. I need to end my casual dating someone who is great but doesn't want the same thing as me.

I think instead of saying what are we, where is this going, it’s better to say who you are and what you want and ask them if they’re interested in that too. It’s not an ultimatum if you stay calm, kind, and focused. I think we as women feel afraid of sounding like we are giving an ultimatum bcuz we’ve heard so often that men don’t like this. It’s not an ultimatum when you state your truth and see if it aligns.

I cannot believe I watched this video now! So useful and just blows my mind.
However I felt the host was kindda rude. I don't know the atmosphere of talk show but it seemed too stressful for the guest to talk whatever he/she was invited for.
Especially all that paper and pen dropping while Matthew was talking, and humoring about the website URL part made me cringe a bit.

So, my partner is a really kind man n committed to me but he never talks about where we are heading. We've been together for about 8 months n live in different cities yet spend a lit of time together. I'd like to know if he ever wants to live together , get married etc. I've told him 3 times that I'm concerned we never talk about our future n his response was- we will talk when I come down next or you come over next. Yet we haven't had 'the chat' yet. As we haven't been together that long, I don't want to be too pushy. Any thoughts welcome :-)

This women I was interested in is still seeing a guy, she conveyed some interest, but ive been the guy who steals women before and they always seem to get stolen later on. So I think there's a few women in my dating pool (area) I will try for. The hot one has blonde hair but I think her original color is brunette I always see her at mall.
