Solid Granny Square Sequence:
Round 1 (16 stitches)
3 dc on sides
1 tr on each corner
Round 2 (32 stitches)
3 dc on sides
5 stitches each corner (2dc, tr, 2dc)
Round 3 (48 stitches)
7 dc on sides
5 stitches each corner (2dc, tr, 2dc)
Round 4 (64 stitches)
11 dc on sides
5 stitches each corner (2dc, tr, 2dc)
Optional sc edging : I recommend 3 or 5 sc in each corner to get around the bend and 1 sc in each stitch on the sides.

Love these squares! Where did you find those stitch markers? They're just what I've been looking for.
Thank you! I get them at Walmart and Michaels. They are usually very easy to find.

Thank you so much ! As a square I thought they work well as a picnic blanket, pilllow, drawstring backpack or tote.
For just the appliqués , they work well on scarves , hats , pockets on cardigans. The strawberry works really well as a coaster when it’s worked up in bigger yarn. 💕

Soooo pretty! Do you happen to remember which colours you bought the Stylecraft DK yarn in for these examples?
I want to say it was fuchsia for the pink and a light pink or blush for the light one but I don’t know for sure. I’m away on vacation so I can’t double check for you right now but if you reach out and remind me in a few days, I can look at my notes for you. I’ll be home by Tuesday.
