Thank you for this excellent tutorial; so well explained and filmed! Very kind, I love it!
Because I am making a bag of these granny squares, I decided to write down the pattern. It is in Dutch though, so for the non- Dutch speakers: Google Translate is your friend 😊 Warm greetings from the Netherlands!
    Roos:
    Toer 1:
Magische cirkel, 2 lossen; dan nog 16 stokjes. Sluit met half vaste.
    Toer 2:
1 losse, 1 vaste in de eerste steek. 3 lossen.
    1 stokje, 5 dubbele stokjes, 1 stokje, 1 halfvaste.
3 stokjes. Dit alles in de eerste lus. 1 losse.

      @AdoreCreaCrochet  21 день назад

Sure! The yarn used in the tutorial is a DK medium weight, like worsted weight, which is pretty standard for most projects. If your yarn feels too thin, you might want to try using a slightly thicker yarn, or adjust your hook size for a tighter or looser fit. Hope that helps! 😊

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet

Typically, the size of the crochet hook (needle) does matter to achieve the desired gauge and texture. Using the recommended hook size ensures your finished project turns out as intended. The hook size can vary based on the yarn weight and the tightness or looseness of your stitches. I used a 4.5 mm hook

Can anyone help me calculate the amount of yarn used for these roses to make a medium-sized rose granny square cardigan?

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  29 дней назад

Sure! For a medium-sized rose granny square, you might need around 10-15 grams of yarn for each square, depending on your pattern and the number of squares. If you’re using multiple colors for the roses, consider adding a bit more for each color. It’s always a good idea to have some extra just in case. Happy crafting! 🌹✨
