Hi friends, I hope you enjoy the video. This is actually a repost of a video I shared a year or so ago that I’ve fixed the sound quality on . I’m currently away on vacation in Venice , Italy with my daughter. 🇮🇹😀 I see in the comments that the link no longer works for the caddy. What a shame. 😮 I did a quick search and see that it might be available on Amazon. I’ll add a link if so. My apologies on that. 💕
I let crocheting take over my sewing/quilting time and I haven’t done any real quilting in 4 years. Yikes. So this 15 minutes a day sounds like a great way to start! Thank you so much! ❤️
i love your calm voiceover. i am very overwhelmed recently and have no time to crochet because of work but your videos are such a lovely way to keep my crojo up and relax at the same time
Perfect video for me at this time! I am usually so organized with my crochet, but my craft room has exploded and it is very stressful to see so many started projects. This will be so helpful in finishing those projects that my heart is no longer excited about (right now), but I know will be thrilled when it is completed. The wallflower blanket is gorgeous and I love the telephone timer!!
I’m with you . I fall in love with a lot of projects and then start getting tired and want to move on to the next one. I recommend you choose just one of them- the one you feel the most excited to revisit and experiment with this concept with that one only and see how it goes . 💕
@@PlayHookywithMe I have an important sweater to finish. It's made of granny squares that look like eyes! My daughter is an artist who was asked to be part of a paranormal convention and she thought the sweater would be perfect for her to wear! I must say, I am a little weary of all those eyes - lol!!
We are so blessed to have you as our teacher. You are so talented. An artist, a genius, a time manager, and so much more. I have used this technique for trying to clean and organize my house. Even for yardwork. It is amazing how much you can get done in those 15 minutes. I loved this video of course. Love your blanket. ☮️🌎🌲
You are too good to me, Jennie 💕 isn’t is crazy how so much can be done in such a little span of time ? Especially when it’s cumulative. Makes such a difference. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💕
My 'yarn stash' is outta control. So, I started to organize it. I have a way to go yet but I was shocked to find at least 10 WIP'S!!! I get bored easily hence the amount of wips. I want to revisit them all & this will help tonnes! Thanks for the tip :))) It will begin mostly as a research exercise of what I was doing as I didn't leave myself any notes Ex: hook size, yarn, etc.
Had to put one of my cats to sleep. He was only 10 and caught jaundice. I'm 77 and crochet helps me to meditate, while making something to remember. Thanks for your tutos. 👏👍😘 From northern France.
I like to make a round or row after every hour I study or after certain amout of question I have to go through. I am always looking forward to crocheing, it makes the project be finnished very fast and my brain get the relax from the studying it needs. Right now I am doing a scarf for my friend!
It's feels less of a chore. It reduces that " guilt" feeling that you get when you feel you neglected other things to get crochet done. It helps to share time.
I just started cutting (finally) the fabric for a king sized wedding quilt my goal is to finish before my wedding in six months. My plan is exactly as you said: work 15min at least each day. I am doing all my cutting up front so that when I am in my busy work season next month it will make it easier to just work on a little at a time.
I'm working on a 2024 Temperature Blanket and am, of course, behind about two months. This is just what I needed and will start the process tomorrow! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for all your wonderful tutorials❣️ I hope you have a lovely vacation with your daughter in Italy 💜 We appreciate all the hard work you share with us here for free, you have helped me a lot. Blessings to everyone 🙋🏻♀️🦋💜
This is the Pomodoro technique which was devised by an Italian student to make his studying easier. Its a great technique for anything, from housework to ploughing your way through a massive data entry eisode at work. Teach it to your children. Its a skill for life not just for crochet. 😂
That’s funny…I came up with this technique for myself years ago, and I’ve never heard of this Italian fellow. Just goes to show there’s nothing new under the sun!
This is how I get so much done. I use this method to keep my house clean also. I pick a spot that needs work, but I don't want to do it, and I tell myself I am only doing this for 15 minutes, and then before I realize it, I am done.
Exactly ! You know what ? I learned that from “fly lady” (a cleaning website) eons ago and it was literally life changing. It’s amazing what can get done in such a short time, isn’t it? 🙌🏻❤️

I find I can always get through a project once I start it. But, my biggest problem is keeping everything together. I work at my kitchen table, so I am forever moving my project to the table, then off of the table for a meal, then back to the table to do more work. why didn't I ever think of a solid tote or caddy?🤔🤔 Or even a small, shallow box? I love the caddy idea. Godetevi il vostro soggiorno a Venezia!!! ~Joan~
I keep a small notebook and pencil in the zipper compartment, so it is handy to write notes about project in and if I'm not able to get back to the project soon (because I started another project ;) lol) I know where I left off and what stitch I was using. I use 2 bags for this.
I really like the blankets you showed. Thay kook hard to make. Will you have any tutorials on either one. The one with all the flowers really looks difficult. ❤❤❤
