Yamaha has its own unique sound which I prefer over most brass horns.

Sound will be different dependent on who plays it of course! Close you eyes, it could be a trumpet! Which mouthpiece is being used? Thanks

Yes, I agree, sound is quite much dependent on player. And also mouthpiece has a big impact on sound. I use an old Yamaha 13F mouthpiece in this video. It is somewhat different than those Yamaha flugelhorn mouthpieces sold today.
