Love this movie; It's the definition of fun.
Is it nonsensical sometimes? Yes, yes it is; but it knows what it is and delivers an action spectacular.
Absolutely loved this film. Don’t care what some reviewers think. Also that alien design was some cool af shit. Need to see more of that in the sequel
Every one has to put a caveat on this movie.. Why?...this was exactly what every guy wanted it to be..a fun action film fighting aliens to save the world..I loved it!..and you know you did too!
Great movie! TOTALLY loved it!
This is how i see time travel in this film: two sperate timelines moving at the same speed and connected using a "matter bridge". This avoids a paradox and solves the causality issues. People from the Future, knew their world was doomed and gave everything in order to complete one last mission, that gives those of the past/present a second chance to fight back. His daughters, wanting to believe in her father, picked him as a delivery system, wanting to see him again and having faith that he'll get the job done.
The best way to see it is that a second timeline is created when the initial time travel back to the soccer pitch occurs. There is no way to otherwise settle the fact that one timelines 'past' would have to have been altered from the future thereby changing the future which would then negate the need for the past to have been altered in the first place, hence a paradox.
Multiple universes (likely infinite, where every single variable for every possible outcome that has ever occurred hence infinite) would have to be the working theory. When you time travel you go back to a certain date in one of the universes/timelines where you time travelled back in time to alter the future, from there an infinite amount of futures can occur based on further events. Comic books have done this to the point of a PhD haha.
This movie was so fun man!! Didnt expect much but i watched it yesterday and it was actually pretty good.
I enjoy it at one point I said the human race is SCREWED 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great reaction . . . And you nailed it with your theory! This movie was so entertaining! Plus it’s rewatchable 🤣 . It reminds me of the first time I watched Independence Day plus those aliens 👽 are on point. JK is “jacked” but don’t forget he’s Omni Man! Even though the Black people in the movie were support cast they really helped to save all of humanity just as much as the main characters and this movie had more diversity than most. But most of all the movie is positive about family and exactly like you said “second chances” so it’s good in my book.

What about Passengers? I enjoyed it. It was a romance adventure. It did it's job as a movie imo.
Omg I loved this movie man. It was done very well imo.
Passengers was actually very accurate as far as the psychology of the situation is concerned, but then again not everyone has a Bachelor in psychology like I do. In studies of how well people deal with total isolation had some people hallucinating after just a couple of days without human contact or interaction. Also the more extroverted a person is the more likely they would be to have problems in isolation. About 3/4 of people are extroverts, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect half the population to make the same decision to wake up another person in the ship. Also Pratt's character would not be in a healthy state of mind, so he would do things he never would have done under normal circumstances. He wasn't a bad man, or selfish, what have you, he was literally out of his mind, and after regular interaction Lawrence's character helped him back to a healthy state of mind, by that point it was already too late. I could go on with a whole essay on the subject, but I won't here. Again, it's very accurate.

This movie was everything I wanted Army of the Dead to be and it succeeded with Flying colors.
My jaw was on the floor,my heart was beating with every tense moment,the score had me terrified and pumped,the set pieces were money well spent,and my god the villians In this movie were fantastic.
That final death on the Female honestly ranks up with the original Predator 1/2 and Aliens Queen villian deaths in just how goddamn pesky,formidable,ferocious and hard to put down it was,leaving its death all the more satisfying to witness.
8/10,what a blast.

Ahh great question! That would actually make a good movie too.
The Whitespikes just have to be quiet enough the Angels of death open up their head to hear better, then shoot a spike into their head. Whitespikes would win.
@@Matthewvhaynes the quiet place monster also have an advantage in armor their armor help them survie a planet expolsion and a fall fron space to earth so the white spikes long range and close range attacks wont work on killing them unless there is a very loud sound which could expose its weak spots

Not all movie need to be called masterpieces and deep. This movie was amazing! I was at the edge of my seat.
U know what I found funny Chris Pratt said “I’ll be back” and his father in law is Arnold so I thought that was kinda funny because he said “I’ll be back” not I’ll come back so I thought that was kinda funny and ironic because throughout the movie ur like “is he going to die did he die did he not come back like what happened u know so I thought that was kinda a cool and or ironic line for him to tell His daughter
a great 90s action movie, elevated to the 21st century and they are absolutely not sorry for it! :)
