The problem with the Costco reviews is the regionality of things. In NJ we don't have anything that he shows.
agree, i'm from the northwest and noticed that the costco in las vegas has items we don't have, and vice versa..

I think he got those from a Seattle location. When I googled it they had a few locations pop up that had it like Orlando and west Michigan ❤

My Costco in the Pacific NW still has the fried rice. However the egg tart and fried chicken were discontinued towards the end of last year :( I really want the egg tarts back. Hope they bring them back sooner than later.
Hey Mike I recently grabbed a bunch of those korean fried chicken and it was ok but I used the sweet sauce to BBQ bake some chicken thighs and it was amazing!
I had the Korean Crunchy Chicken for lunch today and I love it! Yours didn't look very crunchy, not sure if it was. Mine was very crunchy. I was telling a friend how surprised I was at how crunchy it stays even after putting on the sauce.
I tried it and NO! I will never put honey on Mac n cheese again!

Mike, you should go to Hamburg Germany. A Portuguese family opened up a bakery there and sold egg tarts. They sold so many they had to open up two more bakeries right next to the first one to keep up with demand

I’m surprised, once you added the mustard on the pork, I’m surprised the Umami didn’t shine through.
I literally went to the Costco in Mobile AL last week and didnt seen any of those squiggly noodles, dumplings or the Korean fried rice. I even tried looking on Costco online and didnt see any of these items. You must be going to one of the biggest Costco in the states. I didnt even see those egg tarts.
Costco is highly regionalized in the US. The one I go to in Maryland has almost all of the things he has, because he have a large Asian population in this area. However, the Costco in the area in Maryland that I used to live had none of these things because the population of the area was different.
I don't know about the other items but I have found the egg tarts in Chicago area Costco stores...and they are excellent.
Must be costco in Seattle, that's what he said about the Mac n cheese.

We bought the Portuguese egg tarts the last time we went to CostCo. My favorite dessert, yummy!!!

Ive noticed Costco in the UK has become a bit Koreaboo they have bibimbap bakes in the food court you can get soju delivered. And bibigo mandu and others i the freezer.

I hated that BBQ Pork roll when I got a few years ago. Was slimy and just gross. stuff from a restaurant is just infinitely better.
I can't even imagine how bad that chicken must be for him to even say a slightly negative thing.
Surprisingly, Lidl has amazing natas. Try those and you won't be disappointed.
The variety of content on both your channels is one of the reasons I keep coming back, Mikey! (Well, OK, the Dad jokes too) If I could afford a Costco membership, I'd definitely be checking these items out and YES, pasteis de nata are one of my favorite things in life as well.

It's worth it just for the cheapest gas in the area alone. Between the cheap TP and paper towels + cheap gas + cheap food, It's worth it.

Costco Durian special brother Mike 🙏 plz plz! Our Costco had Durian/mung-bean banh pia during the holiday season but not currently. Right now we have frozen vacuum sealed durian meats, as well as a whole/spiky durian fruit in the refridgerated produce section. Also have durian ice cream (Mavin's brand) and I've also seen durian mochi snacks. I have tried the vacuum sealed durian flesh, the banh pia, and the ice cream, but not the other two items. If you like good peanut butter, it goes well with all, especially the ice cream and banh pia, but even the straight-up fruit meats. I feel weird calling them meats, but its also appropriate since durian makes me think of Swedish meatballs 😂which have plenty of onion in them, thus the association maybe. PB and durian ice cream is the jam.
also the frozen sweet potato fries are not bad, and again with the peanuts you can make a peanut sauce, heavy with peanut butter and some soy-glaze/gingery/sweet aspect, and garlic, etc.. Also on a cheezy note, the Kingdom Organic Cheddar at Costco is good, and for some reason I've been craving ketchup, so literally ate pieces of cheese with Heinz. Crave weird things at different times, and sometimes I don't want to eat at all.... Vigorous exercise and cannabis are necessary for me.
Even the Yakima Costco has the Octopus Fried Rice. Its by far
my favorite thing from Costco.

I want to try the coffee and the egg tarts 😋 I try the Korean honey and garlic chicken and I didn’t like it either. The flavor was not there and the chicken nuggets were not good.
