I would love to see a restaurant blind feed Gordon any of his frozen meals, watch him flip out over the frozen taste and how it makes him want to vomit, then show him his face on the box 😂
Gordon himself has said that it's OK for home cooks to take shortcuts. It's unacceptable at a restaurant because people are paying the restaurant for a better experience than they can have at home.

Finally, an episode where I could eat everything Mike tries - and I don't really want to.
Even if they were decent, the price point is way too high for what you get.

If you're serving frozen meals at a restaurant and charging people money that thinks it's fresh, that's bad. If you're eating frozen meals for yourself at your home at your own expense, the only one at risk is really yourself.

I tried that same exact Stranger Things pizza last summer. The pineapple jalapeno one and I got so sick off it from food poisoning.
Even Walmart frozen food is umami to you. You're out of your mind buddy.

I've tried both brands myself and the Flavortown are really bad. The Gordon Ramsey brand does taste a lot better.

Looking forward to see your take on these; I've only tried the fish and chips, but as I recall, it was actually pretty solid.
I've been on the fence about trying these "celebrity chef" frozen dinners. They are pretty expensive, (for me at least as a mom on a budget), but if Mike says they're good then maybe it's worth getting a couple! Thanks for the informative review and the chance to actually see the food!

They may TASTE good, but I would need at least 3 to be full. Too small and expensive to feel full.
The Guy Fieri shredded pork dish looks nasty, so I’m not surprised to hear it wasn’t good

Most of the stuff in the States isn't here in Canada, but those Motor City pizzas I can get at Costco, and they really are that good.
I enjoyed this review! I haven't seen any of these at my local Walmart yet, but now I have a better idea of what's worth springing for and giving a whirl when I do.

I am a sucker for any comfort food but especially pot pie. I can make my own, but for a quick meal I love an oven cooked frozen pot pie. I usually get the Marie Callender’s, but today I tried the Boston Market frozen pot pie and WOW! I really enjoyed it.
And Parmesan. Seriously? Also provolone! Sort yourself out.

I wonder how many people have actually tried these ? I have, for $5 the Gordon Ramsey ones are good, though Mike is missing the Shepard's Pie which is the best of the bunch. The slow cooked beef is good as well.

Commenting before you even get to the reviews, thank you for doing this! We have a limited income but like to try new foods here and there when we can, this will let me know if it's worth the try or not.
i recommend cooking your own meals if you are on limited budget.

That Motor City pizza is THE BEST. I like to get the cheese bread one and eat it with spaghetti or lasagna.
Walmart is so underrated gets a lot of bad rep but I like it it has everything especially those super centers

By far the motor City Pizza Co is the BEST frozen pizza on earth! I like to get the double pack from Costco and we go through it in one weekend. Lol

I love Motor city Detroit style pizza. I buy them at costco for 11.99 and there are 2 pizzas into the box. They also have a really good Motor city 5 cheese bread

Here in the UK we have a brand of frozen pizza that uses frozen fresh dough called Chicago Town, easily the best frozen pizza you will ever eat.
Feed his frozen food to Gordon and I bet he will spilt it out

Motor City pizza is my favorite frozen pizza. I get mine at Costco.
From what i saw, the frozen meals were 6$ American and for the amount of food, did not seem worth it.

no offense to Mikey, but I HATED Gordan's pot pie! Way too salty & the chicken's dry-as-dust. KFC's is way better & costs the same. But I discovered Nighthawk's Steak & Taters. So good! Okay, should've named it hamburger steak & tater tots, but the patty tastes grilled & is hella juicy without being greasy.
Dude if you enjoyed that Deep Dish, you HAVE To go to Detroit and get the real deal BUT only from Original Buddys (the one in Detroit on 6 mile and Conant )
Omg you can really tell how bad his taste buds are and how much he is into processed food. These are terrible compared to what they call themselves and have nothing to do with the real dishes (cheap produced, processed, wrong ingredients, of course they look not great).
