Hey Mike! Ya gotta try the various Indian and Thai dishes in Costco refrigerator section. They're on par if not better than Trader Joe's Indian and Thai options. Kevin's Thai Coconut Chicken is one of my faves. It's esseytellow curry chicken 😊
@@SahiPie He used to heavily promote a fusion Korean barbecue place in Houston a few years back then but no word about his involvement since its opening.
Hey Mike Chen, you really don’t need to give favorable reviews to everything you eat or give positive review to every restaurant you visit. I’m from the Bay Area and tried most of the restaurants you recommended but wasn’t very impressed with their food. I recently tried the lasagna and let’s just say beef short ribs don’t belong in lasagna. The chicken pot pie was good. Yes, I also purchased the Wagyu steak for $1200…much too fatty and very oily, never again. I recommend trying the fresh beef bulgogi. But really, don’t be afraid to tell your fans that it’s just plain”not good”.
Did you really call A5 Wagyu "too fatty and very oily"? That's literally the point lmao. Did you not understand it was going to be fatty simply by using your eyes?
I'm kind of semipermanently currently unable to afford Costco anymore but this episode brings up happy memories including freebies and just the joy of buying whatever you want.
I had the Portland ketchup several years ago and I don't use anything else now. I love it. I love most of the things that Costco sells. I'll have to try the lasagna.
Omg,that popcorn was, sounding so good 👍🏻. Thanks for showing all the best at Costco. I now know what I want to look for, especially since all was my favorite. You take care and stay safe and enjoy your days. Fro m your biggest fan from Arkansas 👍🏻😁😘
He did know, he said the price when he got home, it "was $11.49 per pound but now it's $6.49 per pound" though in the store he did sound like he thought the sirloin was $6.49 total. 🙂
All that chicken pot pie, noodle soup, chicken-whatever dishes at Costco made from yesterday's rotis chicken. My local store sells the rotis chicken at a discount after 4/5pm. Then they make the other dishes for sale. I'd skip on them; just use leftover rotis chicken and make your own.
Costco looks like a really good place to go if this is anything to go by. I've not been in a really long time, and if I can afford a membership? I may have to try it out!
Wow 🤩 thank you for giving your review of this delicious products I need to go buy the A-5 wagyu 🥩 but I never find it, 😢 at the Costco that I’ve in my area…
That chicken pot pie has been my family's Costco favorite go-to for years. They used to put mashed potatoes on the bottom. I miss that. The only downside is how long it takes to cook. I make a really good chicken pot pie, but this is just too easy. Second place: Asian chicken wraps. Third: chicken noodle soup, which is a little too salty, but goes well with their artisan bread. My busy mom-of-three self had zero tiime.😂
Kinda curious why the need to start a Costco series Mikey?? It's an already saturated subject. You're better than that. Cool if you're NOT reviewing the U.S. market ✌🏽
Holy crap! This is the series I never knew I needed. Thank you!!
HI-BISCUS
If thats his house, its nice. Hes funny! At 6:18 he said "Garfield approved"!! Lol!!
“His Biscuits” 😂
And it’s “waa gu”.
That peppered beef seems like it'd be a great pick up for some k-bbq on a budget
When Mike said HIs Biscuits
High-bis-cus
Hey mike get a stainless steel pan or something and get it really hot then sear the steak on each side u get a better crust
That first meat looks like it would be perfect for beef ramen!
Excellent idea for a series. This hits home for a lot of people....
I don't know why but the fork on the teflon pan triggered me.😅
Common sense?
Agreed. Ive seen so many people die from cancer that things like this make me cringe. Hard cringe.
Why use metallic items on a Teflon pan. Mikey Chen, that’s a Kindergarden error you done there. What would your aunties and uncles, say about this.
you won’t have to really worry if you have an extremely quality pan which I’m sure mikey has
Don’t worry. He’s Chinese. His mom will yell at him later.
Now this is much better than those sponsored high end restaurants episodes❤❤❤
How long did you cook the A5 meat??
Good question
Too long. RIP that poor ribeye.
A little while ago, the wagyu was $30 off the package. Hopefully it will go on sale again soon
It's not real wagyu
@@PheonixDawnwhat do you think it is 😂
There’s a guy who does this already lol
Well I am pretty sure there are tons of professional food critics on RUclips

Love that you’re showing items that are available in TX Costcos!!! Would love to see more in this series ❤ can’t wait to make my way over to Karne!
Mike no longer has involvement in Karne. The owners kicked him out of the venture even before it opened.
@@joeychan6300what was Karne? I haven’t followed mike for at least a couple of years now

He pretty much Never says anything is even remotely bad, which makes the reviews more than a bit SUS, though I do like his personality.
yeah, the Costco chicken pot pie... while it's big, Mike failed to mention how much of it is just pure crust and pastry.
I agree I think he gets paid for giving positive reviews cause no way in hell can you like everything u eat, also he never replies to comments anyway
Did you really call A5 Wagyu "too fatty and very oily"? That's literally the point lmao. Did you not understand it was going to be fatty simply by using your eyes?
That chicken pot pie 🥧 looks so good.
That fork on the pan made me visibly recoil.
Got tricked by that Costco steak, you think it's going to be $6 but instead it's $6/lb.
Uncooked sirloin is usually $7.50-10 per pound. Really not a bad deal at all.
Dude ive been eye balling that sirlion stuff. Now I know.
Thank you for trying all these goodies. I know what I'm getting the next time I hit up Costco! 🍿🥩
His biscuits 😅
duh pepper! lol and juicy
Use a torch Burner and use that meet for ramen topping
Has Mike ever eaten something that doesn’t taste amazing, he’s never had a bad meal in his life 😂
they dont tell you the bad ones coz its not part of his image/brand, only promotes the good things
Hes actually eating the whole pie!!
9:40 why he cook a5 well done 😭
thank U, couldn't find the places U went to in Shanghai or Oakland
how does bro not get a heart attack
😂😂😂
Speculation, he doesn't eat as much as you think and may eats heathy stuff to but people want to see the meats and noodles

Hey Mikey I try there beef dumplings it s tasted so good .
C'mon you know you don't use metal in a non-stick pan. That is a huge cut of A5 for $100! wow..
C'mon you know you don't use metal in a non-stick pan
That’s not entirely true. Depends on the pans. I have nonstick calphalon and metal utensils does not scratch them
Yeah that hurts
I use metal utensils with my hexclad no problem
@sack943. I’m green with envy 😀. Maybe one day 😂
Nah, he's not aligned with uncle Roger
This was so helpful! I am going to Costco with a friend who is a member and I will for sure get some of these items.
love it Costco yes yes!!! Keep them coming Mikey!
Nice it comes pre sliced
Wow! Popcorn bag the size of a hotel pillow.
Much bugger than that even😂
LOL
And probably half of it is just air inside.
@@LordLOC lol you wrong, it isn't crispy chips.
@@vilijanac Huh? I never said anything about crispy chips?
That big box 📦 of grass fed beef - 2 small bags 😂😂
I've had the pot pie, and it's perfect! Classic. They use their roasted chicken.
Costco food!!! What a great idea for an ongoing series. Love it!
When I saw "Chicken Pot Pit" I thought Mike was eating a roasted chicken, Hawaiian Luau style. 🤣
Thought the same thing...!
I buy that sirloin every time I go to Costco... Great for meal prep! I flip it with chopsticks in the pan. Might have to try the wagyu!
This series is a must! Thank you brother for doing this!
Bro you are pretty amped up for costco lol.... we love it too but never really thought the pot pie had much flavor
lmao the pot pie is mediocre at best.
It needs more gravy and seasoning overall.
Haven’t had one in years. It was too much dough for me.
I'm kind of semipermanently currently unable to afford Costco anymore but this episode brings up happy memories including freebies and just the joy of buying whatever you want.
I will say having waygu steak at least once in your life is worth the price. But I can't look at other steaks the same.
You really should stop using those PFAS coated non-stick skillets
You used fork on a non stick pan mike. Asian mom disapprove strongly
Hiss biss cuss?

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
Most of the Costco brand stuff by the meat department is the price PER POUND so watch out! The sirloin was on sale for 6.49 per pound, not total.
He did know, he said the price when he got home, it "was $11.49 per pound but now it's $6.49 per pound" though in the store he did sound like he thought the sirloin was $6.49 total. 🙂
Only Mike Chen would eat a pot pie that big!
The way he said hibiscus 🌺
At 9:44 looks overcooked
You shouldn’t heat the non-stick frying pans without at least a little oil on the surface.
That sliced sirloin is definitely a winner at our house.
I was in Costco today and that lasagna is now on sale, $5 off and only $10.99. Killer deal!
No to Rana Lasagna 🤢. Nothing beats a homemade lasagna.
Haha that's right LOL
Mikey I really think you should eat more 😂😉
Pot pie looks so dry. Can’t really see any gravy.
Though loaded with chicken and veggies, it is very dry with little gravy, and it’s under seasoned overall.
What’s hisbiscus?
Love this !! Everything looked delicious!!
I’d use that sliced sirloin on a bowl of instant ramen or some store bought pho or on top of delicious kimchi fried rice with eggs!
That metal fork and tongs hurt my soul.
Pot Pie, Mike
Aj's frozen chicken Ramen is the bomb
My soul is drooling

Going in with no fear using a metal fork in that non-stick pan.
He way overcooked the wagyu. 😂
I just checked with COSTCO and they want $193 for that steak!
Man with that $193 you can get a whole cart full of groceries instead
YES.....yes, yes, yes! I would love to see more of Mike getting Costco stuff....great freaking idea!!
Thank you for a real life family review!!!!

yo that sirloin - crack some egg with it!
To save my pans I just use my wooden chopsticks! Works well!!
great new series! as a european this is interesting
Hey which Costco is this? I've never seen it in my Costco so I'm curious if you've found one with that legendary A5.

$99.99, you can see it on the front of the package
