Greenday crowds I can say without a doubt, are my favorite crowds. Like I don't wanna sound like "one of those people" , but no one has they're phones out recording, they're all just soaking up the music. The environment is always so amazing and alive. The fans always are so in to it by waving their hands. Like when I watch other concert videos of different celebrities, the singers try to get the crowd to wave along to the music but everyone's to busy holding phones or only wave for a few seconds. I also love how everyone's all comfortable with everyone. There's no such thing as "too close for comfort" because they're all there for the same reason, to see the band they love and to sing along to the songs that are so good they give chills. Like don't get me wrong I'm literally on technology 24/7 but sometimes I wish I could go back to the 70s, or whatever, and bring back my favorite bands whether it be 1D or 5sos or Greenday or whatever and go to concerts with crowds more like typical Greenday crowds. Anyone agree?
Ieshia Klein IDK, Gerard's Hesitant Alien concert I went to people had their phones out, but we still waved and sang and practically had a dance party XD Gerard had this whole synchronized hand/ arm gesture series thing going. And then a lot of people turned the lights on their phones on and we waved em around like candles.
Meh. I have mastered the art of recording whilst enjoying myself. I don't record the entire time but whenever I see my favourite bands Rise Against and Kaiser Chiefs I do record some cause I don't wanna watch other live recordings I wanna watch my own so when both bands have long since disbanded I can rewatch them and feel happy I saw them and I can show other people I was there and they can hear me sing along and how much I love them. I have been waiting 12 years to see Green Day. Always been too poor to buy tickets but once I do see them I am absolutely going or record some of it because I can't stand the fact that one day they'll not be around anymore. And I want something to look at and say "that was the day I finally saw mg favourite band in the world"
Mate I was in that crowd, and I can tell u the energy from that I don't think I will ever experience again in my lifetime, I was struggling with a difficult time then, and green day always got me through it, and seeing them lice, joining that crowd, that was the first moment I truly did not feel alone, and that is why this performance will always have a special place in my heart
Ever since I saw this video years ago, I dreamed of watching Green Day live and singing these lyrics with thousands of people. And finally this year, it happened at F1 Singapore! Legendary!
The song. The band. The performance. The audience. No phones, just people singing ... those were the good old days Ps : of course there were phones back there, but people were enjoying the moment more ! Now it’s just phones in 2023. Crowds barely sing or dance and for all of you wondering I’ve been to many many concerts, thanks for worrying about me 🫶🏻
I watched this video probably 8-9 years ago and I thought to myself that I'll never get to live this. 2 weeks ago I attended the Green Day concert in Detroit and I sang Boulevard of Broken Dreams live with over 30,000 people. Surreal.
Its got to be the most awesome feeling walking out onto a stage, having tens of thousands sing a song you wrote knowing theyre all there to see you. It must be surreal.

Ieshia Klein I think I'm the only one who fully read that, and I agree. It's such a shame.
Neko Kitty cool sounds like fun :-)
Sean Bolden yeah that makes sense but there's other green day concert videos where people are just rocking out and just feeling the music
And I want something to look at and say "that was the day I finally saw mg favourite band in the world"
What a moment. To be an artist, and have thousands upon thousands of people sing your words back to you. I feel the love!!
this must be why people love going concerts it's like a shared experience with the artist your singing along with them
Drc
Mike is so underrated. He's so cool with his bass
He literally inspired me to learn guitar. I owe my break away from loneliness and depression to this man.
How could ANY band not be humbled by a crowd singing like THAT!! Amazing Energy!!
It’s gotta be every artists dream to have their songs sung back to them like that
@@joewhitehead3 Exactly!!
The best part is @ 1.44
Only a *few* artist would take a bow like that before the audience. *respect*

1:35 that face you make when you realized you’ve accomplished your dreams.
Ironic considering the name of the song.
Pause at 1:35 and he kinda looks like hanibal lectur too on top of it adding to the irony
You could tell Billie was just soaking in that moment. He looked so truly happy
This is my favourite vid on youtube, seeing Billie's face when the crowd sings is priceless!
This is so touching.. imagine being in that crowd..
Total goosebumps
Mate I was in that crowd, and I can tell u the energy from that I don't think I will ever experience again in my lifetime, I was struggling with a difficult time then, and green day always got me through it, and seeing them lice, joining that crowd, that was the first moment I truly did not feel alone, and that is why this performance will always have a special place in my heart
No cellphones, no cameras. That's a really good show.
Actually, there was a few cameras/phones
Vinicius Fernandes 2013 no cell phones and no cameras??
There were tonnes dunno what ur seeing, or not seeing
KPop fans better
How are we watching it then
I love Billie Joe for how much he talks with his crowd, and interacts with them.
Ever since I saw this video years ago, I dreamed of watching Green Day live and singing these lyrics with thousands of people. And finally this year, it happened at F1 Singapore! Legendary!
Same here 🙌🏻
Look at all of these people that don't know there's gonna be a pandemic 7 years later

But at least we have good memories to go back and watch from time to time.

Quick DickButt nice name
and realize, "im the luckiest guy on earth"
The face when you stole verses from wonderwall but the crowd is too young to know...
The song. The band. The performance. The audience. No phones, just people singing ... those were the good old days
Ps : of course there were phones back there, but people were enjoying the moment more ! Now it’s just phones in 2023. Crowds barely sing or dance and for all of you wondering I’ve been to many many concerts, thanks for worrying about me 🫶🏻
You're acting like phones are a bad thing
@@floppademon1506 Cuz maybe they are?
relax boomer, people still sing at concerts
@@villegas24 no. People are too concerned to even sing anymore in the concerts.

This is the loudest crowd i've ever seen.
I live in Reading and I wish I could have been there.
"Linkin Park In The End best Live Performance" Thats much louder :D
Shadow Moses by Bring Me The Horizon was louder I think
No no, watch basket case live at Reading festival in 2004!
Same
TheGamer Watch Paul in brazil, "hey jude"!
I watched this video probably 8-9 years ago and I thought to myself that I'll never get to live this. 2 weeks ago I attended the Green Day concert in Detroit and I sang Boulevard of Broken Dreams live with over 30,000 people. Surreal.
When thousands sing along together about lonelyness
epic
Yeah, I wish I could of been there to see it live and how epic it was
Its got to be the most awesome feeling walking out onto a stage, having tens of thousands sing a song you wrote knowing theyre all there to see you. It must be surreal.
1:36 he understood. He has made history.
Not only he Greenday did
Wonderwall plagio
You are not alone guys, touch me down as well, listening such an oceanic crowd singing along together, yeah, heavenly bliss friends, come back and sing along some more everybody
