The best part is that Oasis is singing their own song, the way it was originally written. Had Ryan's cover come out at this point? Don't really care to look it up but he definitely took up too much residence in Noel's head when it comes to this masterpiece.

This is a way more distorted/rock oriented version then the almost acoustic version on the album. Can I find a version like this for my Spotify alt rock playlist, did they ever release a version with distortion? Been looking for a more distorted version for a while and remember hearing it once and totally changing the song for me, like this version also does. My playlist is mostly 90's Grunge/Shoegaze/Post-Hardcore and such, and the album version doesn't really suit the playlist, but this version totally would.

I never listened to The Verve other then that great hit they had, never knew they were active before that let alone that they made some great shoegaze music. Listening to old albums of The Verve has just been added to my to do list. Heard of Ride, tryed that album a few times, but for some reason didn't realy like the first few songs so put the album asside for a while, like i did with loveless from My Bloody Valentine. The song you sugested i never got to, but is one i do realy like.
