NOEL GALLAGHER heard it one time, and then he immediately wrote "WONDERWALL," and as is customary, LIAM GALLAGHER sang lead. Noel initially intended to sing it, but he let his brother Liam choose, and Noel ended up singing "DON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER."
