because you asked i am going to assume you know nothing about music, ok A drummer is responsible for keeping the timing in check, keeping the beat, like 4/4 timing for example, 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 ya know? without good timing the song/ music becomes messy/ out of time, like Lars Ulrich of Metallica who is a very sloppy drummer. Sooo the drummer keeps the time, the timing the beat in check. and Tre is one of the best drummers i have seen for having perfect timing. Class dismissed.

They have that same energy in every single concert they've ever done. The terrific drive and passion are second to none. Green Day has been around for years and years but they still the same passion they've had for nearly 40 years!
I'm not sure what it is but this is one of my favorite live performances ever. Something about the way they play and sing here feels so raw yet still sounds so amazing, maybe even better than the studio version.
What I like from Green Day is that these guys are actually good live. Say what you want about Billie Joe's voice, but the man rarely, if ever, goes off-key when performing.
In Japan, we have a holiday in the beginning of May called “緑の日 (Green Day)” to celebrate this great band and song. Everyone in Japan is required to listen to their music on that day.
I grew up in the 70's 80's and 90s. I was at Division Bell. Greenday is was there all the way in later years. Really good stuff. Those times are like magic to my memories.
