@@BumblingSailor I beg to differ. Learning a boring subject from a boring teacher who can’t enthuse you about the value of that subject will take awhile😴😴.
Learning a subject that you already have enthusiasm for, WITH experienced people who WANT you to succeed will be a piece of cake. Get your boat sorted, folks will help you with that. Do a bit of offshore stuff on other peoples boats. Get an expert or two to sail with you on your boat. Remember, an expert is merely a novice with more experience. Learning never stops. Keep the faith man, keep the faith.

Great video yes getting out with others is a great way to get experience and knowledge ,but stick to your own boat ,after all the work you have done to her you have a going concern with her than being bogged down with another "project boat" that means a load of expence and time needed to put to rights someone else's neglect and bodge ups .
