Martin CS21-11 Custom Shop D-21 2011

This one is a limited run that Martin did in 2011, its a CS21-11 model. These have the rear shifted authentic bracing that was used on the D-18 39 Authentic and D-28 41 Authentic models. It has a red spruce top and Madagascar Rosewood.

I played one of these at Gryphon 5 or 6 years ago. I was prepared to be amazed, but I was quite underwhelmed by the tone and volume. It was the only Madagascar guitar I have played. I guess I am spoiled by the tone of my Larrivee Brazilians and my Goodall Standard.
Your recent Amazon Goodall sounds far superior ( to my ears) than the CS21.
