To be honest, this is first pair of VR glasses that I see real purpose in. Playing VR games is nice and all but I really don't care for it. The capabilities of these glasses in the workplace and being able to help people/clients remotely along with being able to customize those step by step VR tutorials is AMAZING!! Thanks for the nice review Gary!
Just really like how you coment on your videos a non bias opinion and professional thanx so much now a question obviously a few years have passed and iv just been able to afford the 200 not the 300 as it seems more restricted and for a dji drones. I have an autel evo 1 and was wondering how I could use this on the 200 as it is an android app system aswell .i know nothing about side loading so wouldnt know where to start could you have a look if you still have the 200s and see if a usb can be plugged in ie a phone or something so can see what's on the phone threw the glasses 200s.or even how or both to side load.there are a lot of us guys and girls out here who would love to use these with the evo drone so if you can do it id push your name threw all my posts believe me thanx your a pro
i am thinking of using these flying my mavic, however im curious how clear the screen would by while flying in bright light. how difficult would it be to see through them?
Hi ya I didnt realise the 200 did the drone side of things. Please can you tell me how this connected to the drone. Iv just sold my dji and got something better an autel evo is this supported please. As this us much cheaper than the 300 version.vufine plus plug in via hdmi so wondering how this connected as need the ap to fly a drone normally using a phone so us this replacing a phone
have you looked at the bt-300 fpv glasses...and if so is there a root available to upgrade the glasses to a newer version of android to allow them to support the dji fly app (mini2)?
Ugly or not, I find these as a great upgrade for my DJI drone, or watching movies dureing a flight or during those boring company meetings :-) Thanks for the review
oh my god why did they have to make an even uglier version of the visor from star trek? Those look like goggles from Chemistry class, not smart glasses.
Epson isn't supporting this product anymore ! What a great disappointment! I can't find any applications for this piece ! Even no RUclips ! Never gonna buy any product from Epson again as they abandoned this product and turned it to useless piece of glass .
sean doan yes you can play Pokemon go on it cause they are running Android. but it has to be Android 4.4 5.0 or 5.0 so you can't get Pokemon go on Android 4.04.
laaaaammmmeeeeeee! it's it worth buying. smart glasses won't be worth buying until they are light to wear, aren't so bulky, and doesn't have a stupid wire running off its side and into your pocket -_-
What kind of crappy CV application can I develop with a VGA input? even QR reading is capped to very short strings. Then, consider this device is about USD$800... so the review of the tech-specs is a NO-GO.
+Adam Munn-Rivard Hmmm... That is a bit strange because I mention lots of use cases in the video including drone owners, Lockheed Martin, and organizations who need "you see what I see remote support".
+Adam Munn-Rivard Sorry, didn't meant to imply anything negative, but there are lots of use cases for these glasses. Technically these were launched in mid-2014, but I get where you are coming from.
usually android authority reviews cool devices, but they missed the mark big time with this one. There is absolutely no way in hell anybody in there right mind is thinking, oh I have to go get these glasses. NO!! Whoever made these glasses needs to go back to the drawing bored........and start all over from scratch!!! These are a pathetic excuse for a device, much less glasses. Completely missed the mark!!
+Chris Sparks I think you missed the point, these aren't like Google Glass (i.e. meant to be worn all the time), these are for specific tasks that need AR. For example if I was flying a drone in a park, I don't think there would be any reason not to wear these glasses. If I worked in a job which required remote "you see what I see" support then I don't think that wearing these glasses for a specific task would be bad. People are prepared to wear the Oculus Rift, or the Samsung Gear VR for specific tasks, i.e. gaming. Why not these?
Virtual reality has a LONG way to go!!! I wouldn't wear them or any others for that matter regardless if it was for normal wearing or for a certain task.

The BT 200 is already obsolete. The hololens is wireless and doesn't need a cell phone.
Can you use this as a virtual desktop? I love the idea of having my monitors strapped to my head versus taking up 60 inches
TI OMAP and 4.0.4? What year is it?!?
What about the light witch will be a problem behind the glasses. Trye em in very sunny weather!!!!
Can you use your GPS and use it while driving? can you use it your I PHONE?
3,5 years later I really feel stupid that I´ve never heard about this Product.
Thumbs up for the vid and extra for the phone box on the desk.

How are these with IOS? I want them for flying drones as well as my MacBook pro, iPhone and playstation.
i am thinking of using these flying my mavic, however im curious how clear the screen would by while flying in bright light. how difficult would it be to see through them?
Didn't think of clarity via bright sunlight! Glad i read this. I was just going to buy a pair to use with my Mavic Pro of gumtree..😉
virtual screen that is projected is very small and need 6/6 to correct view it
Hi, may I know how to display whole screen of moverio BT200 at 2:40?
Thank you for your help and look forward to your reply.
Just wait
Inaccurate report - they don't work with the DJI Inspire or Phantom 3 quadcopters.
Do they work with Mavic Pro....?
@@thetruebrit85 No idea, but I would expect they will not. Which is a shame because the idea is good.

Which drone did you use em with.....I've got a Mavic pro and I'm thinking of getting a pair....What quality is the screen....Any good.....?
The glass area looks awesome, but the frame looks hideous.
Two main problems with these glasses, 1 you cannot focus them in 2, pupil distance cannot be adjusted
They should just get rid of the tablet part, and just let you plug them into your computer like a monitor.
Nice demo unit. Hope they don't sell it to consumers.
It's awesome just one thing i want it wireless from the touch pad to the glass and that would be just enough good nice one
the wires would make you look cool but the glasses look too wide and they are hard to use...
Hey can you use them for racing drones
anyone have any ideas on how much I should get a bt 200 for if I find one on a deal?
I think I'll pass on these
A. too bulky
B. that wire from the side is ugly and should be wireless
C. that trackpad is designed badly...
They need to merge with Microsoft holo lens. This optical stuff is hot stuff for all industries...
looks ugly with those wires
+bionik881 Very ugly, I feel like this device won't be for every day users, maybe for like a certain job or company
guess what, hospital monitors have wires, are they ugly, no they save lives, sometimes your opinion shouldnt be broadcast for the world
Ik it looks very weird, but i think they gonna improved it
Love your reviews! Keep it up!
Is there a mic that you could put audio input to instead of tapping on a stupid keyboard? Do a hey Google thing...
can it print?
isn't this similar to Microsoft Holo lens ?
It is
Nice overview.
Yay Doctor Who things everywhere!
i believed the future classroom full of this kind of devices. student just play individually without traditional teacher.
aren't theses really old?
+Friedrich Winkler (friedrichfw) Epson launched them mid-2014.
If they had video input I would definitely buy these to use my pc while in bed!
I knew someone would make smart glass
Por favor traduza o seu vídeo para o Português, Brasil
Awesome. Slap Google services on and I'll get it despite the poor aesthetics.
In 30 years youngsters will be having this inside of their eyes and will be like: 'how do wear this thing? why would you ever want to use this?'
no one is going to wear them((
dat doctor who poster
Cuanto es el precio
oh my god why did they have to make an even uglier version of the visor from star trek? Those look like goggles from Chemistry class, not smart glasses.
great video.
These perfect predictions though. XD
this looks good for consumption in the home. watching a movie in bed etc. not sure I would wear them in public :-)
I wouldn't wear publicly even if you paid me
10k? Lol

So they are a waste of brass nowadays yeah....I was just going to buy a pair to use with my Mavic Pro.,..🤔
Well crap I just bought some for fun. Guess I'll just load movies onto it. Mirrorcast work?
pokemon go ?

it's NOT worth*
its ok
they are uglier than my tv 3D glasses....

Deal with it glasses
7:20 Proto Holo-lens
lmao I cant think of why or who would use this
+Adam Munn-Rivard Hmmm... That is a bit strange because I mention lots of use cases in the video including drone owners, Lockheed Martin, and organizations who need "you see what I see remote support".
I'm not hating, I gave you a thumbs up but I think there are better solutions to all those problems. It seems janky and outdated upon launch.
+Adam Munn-Rivard Sorry, didn't meant to imply anything negative, but there are lots of use cases for these glasses. Technically these were launched in mid-2014, but I get where you are coming from.
They should stop R&D for this thing and just give me all of their money just because i ever saw this thing......
No just no!
LoL
wired = Fail in 2015
