    How does the shoulder strap feel carrying this weight on the 9L for a full day? It's a similar setup I plan, but feels the strap isn't very padded. Thank you.

    Hey Jonny, great video and review. I'd like to ask your opinion as I am interested in either the 6L or the 9L. I am more of a urban street photography person. I shoot with a Fuji X-T4 and usually carry an extra lens with me. I also usually like to store my wallet and mobile phone in the bag that I carry. Which one do you think might be more suitable? In terms of sizes, does the 6L have enough space? My worry is that 9L might be "too clunky". I already have a "fit everything" Shimoda Action X for outdoor landscape photography. Love to hear your thoughts as you are one of the few that has all three sizes to explore and compare.

      Hey Joseph! My needs sound very similar to yours. What did you end up going with and has your pick met your expectations? Just ordered a 6L and wondering if it was the right choice!

    • @josephlai1078
      @josephlai1078 Год назад

      @@Louiejacob2 I am waiting for the local store to restock the 6L. They ran out due to the holiday season and the shipment has yet to arrive. My plan is to check it out in person. I ordered my PD 6L and 10L online and kind of regret it. They are good looking bags, but I have to squeeze everything in the main compartment. Front zip pocket and the back packet, from my habit of use, are not optimal for anything with some bulk such as wallet/filter holder/charger, etc. Intuitively, I think 6L is the right choice. With more room, I tend to pack more, which also add up in weight. In such case, a backpack would be more comfortable instead of a sling for weight distribution on a day trip.

      @@josephlai1078 Youre right. That was my thought with the 6L. The idea isn't to bring all my gear. Just the most necessary stuff. Thank you!

    I’ve scoured video reviews of the 6L and no one has mentioned if the bag will Mount in anyway to a suit case handle. I regularly use this as a lens bag for when I shoot events or weddings and I normally have a carry all roller I’d strap it to and on occasion to a suitcase at airports. Even if the top handle is wide enough to do this or not.

    • @harcoremonkey
      @harcoremonkey 9 месяцев назад +1

      It doesn't. Although it has two zippers to pass through the back of the bag, it is still closed from the bottom, cause it is designed to fit the laptop through it. You could use the top handle for that purpose but personally I don't find it ideal. Another solution could be thigtening the shoulder strap to your carry, but this bag doesn't have any feature to do what you need.

    Do you think I could comfortably get an r5 with a 15-35 attached in and out of the 6L without feeling like it’s squeezing it in?

    • @JonnyRoams
      @JonnyRoams  Год назад

      I don’t think it would be deep enough for that combo. I did try my R6 when I had it and the grip was a little too big

    does fit a Sony A7 III with a 15cm long lens in the 3L ?

    • @JonnyRoams
      @JonnyRoams  Год назад +2

      Youd have to remove the lens, and it would be a very tight fit. the 6L may be more suited for that.

    May I make a suggestion...since you seem to have a dialog with the WANDRD folks, perhaps you might suggest a change to their online product demo videos? (This is ONLY my opinion...which is kinda useless. But, from the WANDRD product videos, I honestly could not make an informed decision of why I should order the Roam 9L....versus competing sling bag products. I posted the comment below on Odie Mathew's channel. However, I did take a chance and ordered the 9L from the WANDRD site, but only because I kinda wanted to support their business. From the WANDRD online ROAM video, I did not see features that were above-and-beyond those of competing products. However, from RUclips videos, I DO see outstanding features in the WANDRD slings...so I look forward to receiving the 9L. Anyway....all of that is my opinion, but everybody's got an opinion. 🙂
    ----------------------------------------------
    "Seriously....WANDRD should hire you to do their online videos. You showed more of the product, the internals of the product, the features of the product, the capacity of the product, examples of items that can be carried in the product, the top/ bottom/ sides of the product...everything about the product...compared with the WANDRD online video...that showed more of the guy speaking than they showed about the sling products. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't even know that the 9L came with TWO dividers or one...and I'm still not clear on whether BOTH sides of the shoulder strap are length-adjustable. I ordered a 9 L from WANDRD, but I had to rely on RUclips to understand what I was buying."
