HELL YEAH CURTIS. I just saw it in person at a camera shop and fell in love. I have the biggest moment sling and it’s awesome, but I just don’t love the way the bag hangs off the body 😩
I shoot with a pair of Leica M rangefinder cameras and carry them each with a lens mounted and one extra lens and have been using a Peak Designs 6L which I can make work, but is kind of a tight fit. This bag looks like a much better option to safely carry my cameras... Great video Thanks
Did you have problem with airport? I mean did you have to pay for that sling or it was on personal belongings that you can carry with you for free? Thanks
No issues at the airport. I deemed it as a personal since it fits the dimensions. Every airline is slightly different but it was a personal bag for me. Another thing I did was packed stuff in it and put in my carry on luggage and used it after I landed
Awesome review! I like how thorough you went with it. Do you think it's a bit bulky for EDC without a camera? Just cos the padding seems to make it stick out so much. PS: take a shot every time you say "right" 😜
I think I'm gonna go for the 9L. I like the size of that, but it doesn't look like it's big enough for a ff camera, and 2 lenses. I want to be able to carry an A7Cii with a 24-70mm, and at least a second lens like the 16-35mm. But that's the biggest lenses scenario. I probably won't carry those lenses, but I'd like to have the room if I chose to use those lenses. I know someone else mentioned it, but have you or anyone else figured out a way to use a peak design or f38 clip on it? I absolutely love using the clips on my backpack, and would love to be able to do that with this bag as I don't want to constantly pull out and put away the camera to be hands free.
I agree! I can fit my FF mirrorless with 1 lens but these are Primes - but I am pushing the limit in space for sure. For the clip you'd have to get the compatible plate v2, or switch to the falcam system(which I think I will be doing soon). I have the built in plate on my cage now so that is next the list of accessories and one will be on the main strap for easy access.
@@CurtisAlvaro I just switched to the falcam! Good to know. I'm getting my first ff camera so I'm going with the 20-70 g & 20mm g. They will probably fit. But down the line I eventually want to get the gmii lenses. Better to go bigger in the bag now, since eventually I'll upgrade. I have the prvke 21l and wish I went with the 31l. So I won't make that mistake again lol
Falcam system is definitely underrated! How is the 21 btw? The only thing stopping me was the roll top as I've never had good experiences with that type. Let me know what you decide on the FF setup!
@@CurtisAlvaro The 21l is good for a day pack! The problem for me is I try to cram ALL of my gear into it. I definitely should have went for the 31l, but I'm way past the return window. Oh well. I mostly use it when I hike, so I try to cram an extra set of clothes in the roll top. It's good, but not as big as I thought it would be. Another reason I should have went with the 31l. But as for the rogue, I want that for when I just want to travel with camera and not all the extras the bag can hold. I'm going to go with the A7CII with the 20-70 & 20mm for sure. I'm just too lazy to shlep to b&h cause it's been too cold and rainy here 😂
Eyo Kevin! You can definitely hang it over and use it like a messenger bag as the strap can be extended. I got it as low as just below my hip so definitely long enough. With the 6L its a nice size for a small messenger and big enough to hold. Tied it around my waste as well like a fanny pack style which is doable!
Joseph! I didn't get a chance to use it but I saw it in the store and held it a bit. Capture clip for sure is good on both. Depending on the camera it can get quite heavy depending on where you put it
Love this company. Thanks for the overview. I wanted a bag where I can fit a mirrorless camera with zoom lens docked, an extra prime lens and a Dji mini drone. Torn between 6L and a 9L. I’m in Utah though and want to support this local company for sure
I was torn as well! I had the same setup as you mentioned but I barely got it to fit comfortably as I was stacking some of the things. If that's the case I'd opt for the 9L version. Do you plan to bring that much stuff majority of the time?
Do you think this bag would be okay if you want to shoot in the rain? would it be easy for it to hold my sony mirrorless with a lens attached, 2 other lenses, and my gopro?
If the rain isn't too bad then ya it should be ok, the zippers are yyk weather ones and they are pretty tight. I wouldn't recommend in the rain too long as most things. Depends on the lenses to be honest! Not sure about 3 lenses with a go pro but I could see camera body with lens attached, extra lens, and go pro. I usually put in camera body with 24mm and a 85mm. I have space for filters or anything around that size.
You seem like a really cool guy. Thanks for making this video. Helped me make up my mind on buying it.
I feel like i'm just a pretty normal guy but I appreciate it! I'm excited for you!
@@CurtisAlvaro I meant, down to earth haha. Keep up the content man!

482 subs? Damn. Great video, informative, great personality, and fun to watch. Sold me on the bag too lol.
I'm working on it lol. I appreciate it!
Great video. Lots of good info. You convinced me to pick one up.
Glad to hear it!

It was definitely a toss up for me. The peak design 6L definitely made me think and test more but both are good!
Couldn't find the Wandrd Roam but the Wandrd Rogue looks identical.

6L is very suitable for your body proportions.
Can I ask for your height and weight as a reference example?
Thank you!
I'm around 5'10 5'11
I’m 5’8” and weigh 175, would this looks huge on me?? lol
Great video... Do you think a canon r5 with a RF 85mm 1.2 would fit in??
Possibly. Does it have a cage or just barebone body. I fit my a7iv with 85mm with a cage and it's a snug fit for sure
Keep goin✊🏾✊🏾
appreciate you!

Without camera for edc ya, id maybe switch to 3L or Fanny pack sized bag.
Hahaha
@@CurtisAlvaro thanks for replying. I've come to realise that there's no one bag for every situation 😔
