Bro That was a Great Review ! Well done. I bought this bag 1 hour ago.. coming on Amazon.. I liked the negative things as well. I'll look out for those.. thanks !
Thanks for the review! I ended up getting the Wotancraft camera bag (6 or 7 liters). It’s slightly less structured than Wandrd, but not that much smaller. I love my bag, but there’s still a big upside with the Wandrd: the contoured padding that curves nicely around the body
Nice review :) I think the single zipper is for optimal water proofing/resistance. When there are two zippers and they meet it creates a little gap that water can easily get through :) I would guess that’s the reason
I've been looking at this bag but my problem with so many slings is the strap not being long enough to be comfy.. especially if its winter and ive got layerrrrs on.
This is so helpful! A lot of us get stuck between 6L and 9L.. my concern is if itll fit R7 with sigma 18-50 Attached, nifty fufty, dust blower, canon battery charger and lens hood?
I would 100% go for the larger size. If you really need one I think that the 9 L would fit that lens and a body of a camera really well but this one might be just too small.
@ all so I probably won’t be carrying my big lens that I don’t have yet •_• so at the moment I’ve got a fujifilm xt5 and a cannon 35mm film camera that I want to carry as well both with small lenses so I’m struggling to make my mind up
In the pictures showing you wearing the bag it looks like the thin portion of the strap is over your shoulder and the thick, padded, portion is across your chest. Does the wide part of the strap ever go over the shoulder and be more comfortable?
Incredibly detailed and helpful! I’m looking for a sling to carry my Fuji + extra lens for short hikes and trips. I think I’ll pass on this because of the one way zippers. Looking forward to your next bag review!
Great review of the bag! You answered all my major questions. Have you carried a camera, lens, and a mini drone in the bag? How well does the padding and waterproofing hold up?
I haven’t carried a drone but I have no doubts that it could while also carrying a camera and spare lens. The padding is great and the water resistance is pretty good as long as the zippers are tightly zipped.
I've had this bag since it released and im now realizing, after watching newer reviews, that you can basically throw in your airpods max or any flatten out headphones in the laptop sleeve.
Did you have problem with airport? I mean did you have to pay for that sling or it was on personal belongings that you can carry with you for free? Thanks
@@ChichBolt I have the Venture Sling 6L which I bought partially as a everyday sling yet also a discrete camera bag. I'm able to fit a mirrorless Fuji with a prime and then another prime quite easily + used a padded divider from another bag so they're not hitting. The good part is, is that its easily the most "doesn't look like a camera bag" and is super slim when it needs to be. The bad part is, is that it lacks padding yet thankfully has a stiff construction so you don't feel the objects. The strap doesn't have any padding either which is why I chose the 6L over the 9L to avoid weight but they have a 10L camera venture sling option. I'm still looking for another small alternative though just so I know my camera gear is protected when it needs to be. The ThinkTank Retrospective 4/5 almost ticks the right boxes aside from velcro flaps.
@@backslashio your comment made me curious. How do feel about the "water resistance" on the Bellroy? Have you tested it at all? Thanks in advance for the help 😊
I ve got the same sling and I have the same CON regarding the zipper thing. @Wandrd Why are there only one zippers? 2 would be very nice. Maybe for an updated version? I love the wandrd bags and slings because they are very "sexy" #CoolLooking
I ultimately decided to use part of the budget I would have spent on luxury bags to purchase high-quality replica bags and donate the other part to charities I care about. kislux conveniently allows me to do this, which not only meets my own fashion needs, but also makes me feel the joy of helping others.
It’s a great bag! But the few things it’s not so great at other bags are out there that do it better. I always want to mention things the product isn’t great at.

Fantastic review. Just wanted to say thanks for sharing your thoughts, this has been very helpful
Of course man! Thank you

That makes sense to me yeah
Great review

This strap is pretty long. I don’t know if I’ll make a video about it but it’s long.

I believe you could fit that gear inside, might be tight but it would work.
is it too small? i was think it might be with a bigger lens like a 100-500mm lens but i dont want a bag thats too big...

Yes. I prefer to wear it on my chest or my back so it moves a lot but you can adjust it to be anywhere along the strap.
Do you think this will fit a Sony a7iv with a 24-70gmf2.8 lens attached to it and a 70-200gf4? Thank you!
It'll have to be laid flat on its side than top down
Whats your opinion about this compared to the nomatic x peter 8l?
Price is a big factor, also just person aesthetic choice. it only comes in black. one thing I really like about the WANDRD bag is that it has options…
Other YTer review that there are several stitches that are starting to break at the edge of the rear padding, what about yours?
Mine is holding up great! That other RUclipsr should reach out to WANDRD because they have pretty great customer service
How many snacks can I fit in the bag?
About as much as you can hold IMO

Haha it’s pretty handy that way
I think one zip for each helps with water resistance...
You are probably 100% right.
That is most likely why they did it I’m just nitpicking with that complaint.
Thanks for the review. I'm planning to get also one, but in Orange!
Seide question: What Screensaver is running in the background?
I run a video of from NYC footage and have it play when the computer is inactive.
@@ChichBolt Really cool footage
I agree haha
Did you have problem with airport? I mean did you have to pay for that sling or it was on personal belongings that you can carry with you for free? Thanks
100% personal belonging. I haven’t had an issue carrying it on a flight.
Can I fit two apsc camera bodies in there and 3 prime lenses?
Great question. Probably not depending on the size. It might be better to do the next size up.
@@ChichBolt thanks!
For that much you need 9L
I have one and I have an a6400 and a6000….they DO NOT fit together
The chunkiness is ultimately why I sold mine. I felt like there wasn't enough space inside for how big it is, but i haven't found an alternative lol.
It is chunky but it’s still a good product, I have my eye out for something that can slim down
@@ChichBolt I'm considering the Bellroy Venture Sling 9L but it's a bit pricey
@@andyc7777 oh man that’s a nice bag. Now I’m interested haha

Will it flatten when it’s empty to fit in a backpack?
Great question. No it won’t. It’s pretty stiff in its shape. Especially if bought new.
Is it possible to move these partitions inside or maybe make more space ?
You can move the partitions and customize the bag

Just copped
Would you say they’re better than the Peak Design sling? The Wandrd def looks way better
My personal opinion, yes. Although peak design offers lots of clean solutions I do like this one better.
