What are the brackets you used to join the 2 pieces?

What circular bit did you use for the butcher block faucet hole?
They're called forstner bits, very handy for jobs like this or for running plumbing/conduit.
That’s correct, they will cut a very clean hole without splintering the wood. Thanks!
