I knew Jonathan in the 60’s at Ohio University in Athens. He was very kind to me at that time. It touches my heart to be able to see and hear him again. Thank you.
Mister Edwards was a inspiration for me when I was young and playing guitare. I had an album and I tried to play his song. He has a great voice and great guit playing.
As is often true, a song that entered my life at exactly the right time. It was a live performance in Burlington, VT. It told, my story at the time and in some ways since. Even today, 35 years later, I believe it to be one of the most beautiful songs ever written and I have never heard a cover as beautiful as JE's.
Jonathan’s the best!

Thanks so much for your comment! I'd always heard that his concerts were magical; this was the first one I'd seen in person, and it's absolutely true!

Thanks for your comment! It was so kind of him to give me permission to videotape his performance!

One of the most beautiful songs I know.
Actually written by Malcolm McKinney--a good friend of Jonathan's
Thank you! I didn't know that. I 'll correct the description. Thanks again!
open E?
That’s how I tune it. Then you use the first position “E shape” on the second fret and again on the fourth fret.
