Really one of the most beautiful songs ever done. Saw Jonathan at a small club in Philadelphia in 1981. Absolutely incredible concert. This song simply brings tears to my eyes. Breathtaking................
@R625REEL: THANK YOU for uploading this. I closed my eyes and suddenly the emphysema, the diabetes, the heart problems were gone, and I was nineteen years old again, picking on the guitar and mourning the loss of my first love, mother of my first child...filled with life, love and longing...and youth...just until the song ended...and it was good. THANK YOU. :')
Thank you for this song.I came across this video by accident and it is just so lovely and so endearing to me.I want to change the song on my Dad's online Memorial page to this song. TY! In my heart, I'm missing so many people right now in my life that I cry at hearing this song.
Check out the band lineup for that festival. Wow! (And I think this is a much better version than the studio one. But I almost always prefer live versions by anybody).
Exactly! ….in the mid 70’s this live version was the only one we listened too as my mom bought this live tape. We had no idea there was a studio version lol! Just heard the studio version for the first time in 2019! Great too!! ….but you’re most definitely right that this live version is the bomb! 🥰👍🏻
What memories constantly rewinding and playing this song on cassette tape in the 70’s!!
Simply one of the best songs ever to grace human ears!! 🙏🏻♥️🥰
Very nice version.....! My favourite.

Is Stewart Schulman related to Neil Schulman of Aztec Two-Step?
