- Why spend hundreds of dollars on a heavy ebike.....then have to spend hundreds more on a hitch style carrier to haul your bike? Let me show you how to build your own carrier far cheaper than a store bought one and save loads of money.

What I like about this is the ability to just rig up one bike carrier and use the rest of the space for cargo. Thanks for the video. Really helpful.
Thank you
I watched this twice. Genius. Thanks.
thank you
Nice built! great tips!
Thank you
This is a very nice video and a great modification for your E-bikes using a HFT cargo basket. Also, very well explain in simple to follow instruction. Great job looks good. I be looking forward in designing one similar to yours.
Thank you
Nice work and very helpfull.
Thank you
Looks good Franco!
Thanks Buddy...........This bike is great for exploring. I have a carrier for inside the bed of my truck and not for the hitch.
Great idea sir
Thank you
Greatest ❤
I did a similar modification to a harbor freight cargo carrier about 5 months ago prior to me coming across this video. I skinned my cat differently but this seems trustworthy and beats the heck out of $750 plus for a new one, if you can get one. I had to remark, it’s uncanny that I found you that someone else thought the same idea. Thanks ! Great minds…
Right on Matt, the carrier is rated at 500 pounds. The wood work and straps stabilize the bikes. Works great. Big savings.....
nice job
Can it be used 2x4 too? I wonder if this could be weak vs metal
Jose, the metal carrier is from Harbour Freight. It is rated at 500 pounds. Two ebikes could weigh up to 150 or more pounds combined. What you have to be aware of is the over all weight. That is.....bikes and the carrier. Your hitch and receiver have to be rated in excess of the total over all weight. What ever you decide to do .........good luck
Ive really been thinking about getting an E bike.
There are a lot of manufactures out there. I studied for weeks before I decided. The RAD Power Bikes seemed the better choice. You want at least 750 watt battery, 48 volt, 14Ah. I got a step through which makes it easy to mount and dismount, instead of throwing your leg over the bike all the time.
😂😂😂😂 it looks like a mobile roadwork block
Nice.....need a sign
Aluminum 400lb capacity motorcycle carrier $149.00 at Harbor Freight. Problem solved
Hey Jack..............I had the carrier for several years just lying around not being used. The wood was scraps, I cut to fit. I made this one for pennies. Use the materials you have on hand. Thanks
Only hauls one bike. Now what?
