- Stevie Richards shoots on the infamous Chairshot he delivered to JBL as payback for jbl's attack in the blue meanie.
#stevierichards #jbl #renedupree
Stevie is a hero, he doesn’t drink or does drugs. A great person
LOL That's why he Still looks like hes 30!!!
This argument makes no sense.
Stevie (or person s) could be a hero and a great person even if he did drink and use drugs.
Stevie (or person s) could also not be a hero, or a great person while not drinking or doing drugs.
Making arguments as if they are logically true when they are not without personal opinion being added is so brainless.
You should have written "I think Stevie is a hero and a great person because he doesn't drink or do drugs"
And if the drink and drugs are irrelevant to his status then you didn't even need to bring it up lmao.

@@Provos7777 Some people need to be called out for stupid comments
@@Provos7777 And what are you doing?
From these interviews about Taker being a locker room "leader" he sure seem pick and choose when he wants to be a leader
I've been thinking the same thing.
Uh huh, only when it makes sense for him
Low key JBL tendencies
I think they were generally on the same side in wrestlers court, so that probably was a factor
Undertaker is a trash human being with trash ideas in his bigot brain. He wasted Kanyon with chairshots for being gay. Taker was anything BUT a leader.
Stevie always strike me as intelligent y honest. What an underrated talent he was
Until you hear his conspiracy theories but
@@TrailerParkCinderella which ones?
Of course he’s intelligent, he was a doctor
I want to like this comment so bad but it already has 69 likes and I don't want to ruin it! 😄
Steven Richards: “ he had a hole in his head “
James: 😊
🤣
I use that chair shot sound as my alarm clock every morning.
Lol
Glad Stevie nailed JBL as he was a bully. The shot that was heard around the world. Stevie was an underrated talent because when it comes to wrestling skills and on the mic, the man can deliver.
Just couldn't get anyone to care when he did
@@davidtodd3401 He screamed generic job guy. It's sad really, but some guys just smell of it despite their talent.
@@jackhughes7637 people have spent too much time listening to Meltzer mate. It does my head in.
A whole generation of people convinced that how smooth your ring work looks is what makes you successful.
The only time Stevie got over at all was the RTC gimmick, where he barely wrestled.
The most over guy of the last 25 years, Austin, reached peak popularity doing segments on TV and wrestling at PPVs.
The biggest feud WCW ever put on involved Sting not wrestling for 18 months.
Somehow it still doesn't click in their heads.
Blue Meanie is annoying ( not in a good way.) and I never understood why he was ever used on TV. Maybe he was a good writer or something but he character was always kinda offputting. But no one deserves to be shoot on. JBL should know better
Like many wrestlers with talent he never landed on a good gimmick. Stevie Richards as your gimmick was never gonna cut it.
That chair shot was a thing of beauty.
Appreciate the conversations with the guys from the early 2000s. A lot of them seem to get forgotten about for people during the hotter periods and you don't see much with them.
Undertaker doesn't confront his bully friends...but oh sure Stevie
lol!
im sure undertaker was a bully as well
@@exile101 🤔I thought legend had it that the Undertaker only used his locker room influence for good. 🤷🏾♂️ but I guess Shawn Michaels in '98 might say he's a bully.
@@khathide22nd Undertaker is a textbook example of an enabler.
Dude taker worked as an enforcer for a loan shark. What makes you think he's not a bully?
Can't wait for the full show. Stevie is always one of the best interviews in wrestling.
4:14 undertaker said hey you don’t do that but it okay that J.B.L get to stiff the hell out of blue meanie right ? That chair shot that Stevie did to J.B.L was justified
he had respect of person
I think Taker just meant because the roster was shallow at the time. If not for that I’m not sure if he would’ve been too angry about it.
Blue meanie wasn’t officially on the roster
Or what about the time when taker himself nearly killed mr Kennedy with a chair shot it was on a ppv I forgot the name of it
Stevie sounds like he could be Shawn Michaels' brother 😂
"Dancin'" Stevie Richards/Big Stevie Cool, as "the Cardiac Break Kid"
Perhaps John knew he had to take one, and good on Stevie for actually feeling a bit bad about it. I still think it was to honor the Blue Meanie, a little eye for an eye and then everyone can shake hands afterwards.
I think so too. If you watch the the shot Stevie is smirking as he leaves the ring
Stevie is awesome! Can't wait for the full interview
Funny thing with Taker is he gave several unprofessional looking chair shots himself. DDP, Kenyon and Mr. Kennedy are 3 I can think of immediately. The ones he gave Kanyon and Kennedy were two of the most wicked and brutal looking chair shots I’ve seen in 30 years as a fan.
That was probably one of the greatest chair shots in WWE history and it was fucking glorious.
Always been a huge fan of Stevie. Seems like a great guy too.
Always love watching that chair shot 😂🔥🤘
Undertaker was the king of the dangerous chairshot, just ask Maven or Kanyon if he was still here
I’m glad Rene Dupree is still doing well, he had a great look and should’ve been a major player as a heel but of course WWE dropped the ball on him.
Freaking renee dupree !! Steve Richards as a 90s baby i love this i remember that chair shot !!! And i applauded it. Brother keep on with these i have binge watched half of your videos just today.
Should interview the blue meanie
Would love to
He's the grey meanie now
What I was taught about guys like that when I broke in... "Either hit them back or they're gonna eat you alive." That advice saved my ass more than once.
JBL deserved it he was a bully and after what he did to The Blue Meanie he asked for it he learned a lesson don't mess with ECW New Jack wouldn't of let him walk out of the arena that night LOVE YOU Rene great show
Word new jack would have killed jbl for that
I heard lmao good he was a major influence in wrestlers Court
Blue Meanie laughed telling the story about New Jack breaking Chad Austin's leg but whined about JBL beating him up
@Needlesslearner and don't forget the brawl for all where bart gunn knocked out jbl
How could anyone dislike Stevie
I thought stevie didnt want to do shoots anymore lol, glad he changed his mind. Also didnt taker hit Kanyon as hard as he could with a chair? lol cmon now.
I was looking for the Kanyon comment you delivered.
RIP to Chris Kanyon
Undertaker is such a hypocrite
Yea it's disappointing that the Undertaker would allow the hazing to go on..I used to be a big Undertaker fan but now I just think he is so-so apparenting he's a was a bit of a brown noser I didn't know that he was like that till like the last 2 to 3 years of hearing some stories about Mark one of them was from Tracy Smothers he said Mark Calloway was a bit of a stooge & got some wrestlers fired..I knew that Shawn Michaels & JBL loved to fire wrestlers but Undertaker wow that suprised me😮 also Black Bart said he was a bit of a snob even before Mark became a colossal star in WWE/WWF at the time like in 1988--89..That's not good at all👎& I believe there telling the truth & Mark wanting Vince McMahon to indict him in the WWE HOF was extremely surprising to me😱..Vince McMahon is a mediocre human being at best & I'm being a bit generous
I'm glad Stevie isn't proud of it and that it wasn't vindictive. Despite people telling him he did a good thing he knows better.
"You talked about me on the internet" - JBL
Lol
Stevie is Still 30 Years Old!!! What the Fuck is this Man's Secret???
Proper diet, tons of exercise, and no drugs.
@@zackvanhalen My Diet's ok, I don't do Much Exercise, I'm Really Good with the No Drugs thing, I look Alright!!!
Stevie was underrated and not used right in WWE.
Undertaker seems to pick his moments ...
If more people like Renee and Stevie here ran things, guys would want to a part of the business more. Tough, honest, intellectual approach to conversation.
If there is one thing every wrestling fan can agree on, we LOVE Stevie Richards for getting his receipt on JBL for being unprofessional with Blue Meanie.
Speak for yourself. I certainly don't .
But he just himself said it wasn't a receipt
Jbl had it coming
The fact that he is never gonna apologize for hazing wrestlers is insane
It sucks to know that alot of these guys almost suffer from a form of ptsd from wrestling for the wwe in the mid 2000's,and most of the worst stories involve 3 people usually JBL,Bob Holly and Benoit.
Where can I hear some of the stories
Besides the obvious one, I never heard anything bad about Benoit. What stories are you referencing? I'd replace Benoit with Scott Steiner.

Why does Stevie Richards looks like Triple H in that art graphic lol
The best chairshot in WWE is the one Jeff Hardy gave to Lesnar. Concussion city.
Another chair shot that comes to mind when I think of the best.
Taker also gave one to lesnar that bent the chair half
@@That_Guy- the one he gave Kennedy was worse

@@chandlersbryant4047 lol what have you heard?
The Undertaker sticking up for his Texas buddy I see
But had no problem allowing his ''friend'' to bully others.
Couldn't have happened to a better guy.
Stevie Richards sounds like Edge.
OH YEEE smackdown, Blue meanie accompanied by the BWO vs JBL
Taker sounds like such a real guy despite his years of massive successes
Stevie puts the professional in professional wrestling
This was an honest insight
The more I think about it, the more respect I’m starting to lose for Taker. Mr. “Locker Room Leader” has always been complicit when it comes to JBL’s shenanigans
Stevie is great
I like the like count too much to change it, but I really enjoyed this conversation on the topic, and clearing up that it wasn't an intentional thing. Not that I would have necessarily had a negative opinion toward Mr. Manna but I would like to take this moment to express how well Renee Dupree and Stevie Richards did during their time with the company. Hands down some of the best heels ever. I legitimately didn't like Stevie Richards each night he came out, and that's just damn good performing, because the stories never get me that invested.
At least JBL takes some credit for owning up, and not just letting Stevie get pumelled by Taker.
Undertaker just sounds like a jobsworth who liked to stooge and stick in with the office but gets away with the locker room "leader" garbage. He's paid to perform as a wrestler just like everyone else. Its not his money or his company let vince care about what u do and don't do, why does he care? He is already a multi millionaire by that point in his career. Don't get the whole acting like he's the boss and it's his money on the line, like when people got their rocks off at the thought of him telling michaels to do the job for austin at WM14. what? Can austin or vince not speak up for themselves?? They need a guy that's not even involved in the match lay down how it's going to go. It doesn't affect his own match. That's a jobsworth in any other profession. Either that or an egomaniac bully. Imagine a colleague buts in on ur business between someone else and your boss when it doesn't affect him in any way, nobody would like him and call him a crawler to the management. I guess that's why he stuck around for as long without falling out if favour as long as he did even though his matches were more often poor than great yet everyone else gets the blame for the matches sucking never him! It was all about his entrance that was it.
They had a lot of injuries but they still had a pretty good main event scene
undertaker was designated "locker room leader" by Vince. lol
he was the office snitch aka
Hell even if Stevie didn’t mean to do it the lord sure did! God will don’t play!
Seems to me Renee's subscribers number has skyrocketed these
past couple of months.. congratulations Renee.... I hope it keeps getting better
Only time I thought Steve cashed a check. My words not his JBL took liberties first
JBL started off 6’6, but after that chair shot he was 5’10.
Did “the locker room leader” say anything to John about beating Meanie up? How about Bob Holley when he attacked Renee? I’ve said this for years, Undertaker was an ego maniac and let his buddies run rough shot over the locker room. For someone who got all this respect, I don’t see why.
That's cap. He knows whst he did but that's all unsaid, he speaking professionally.
Generally speaking, America loves talking about the past over and over and retelling the story with the same emotions as when it just happened. Someone random asking me about 2005 I wouldn't even acknowledge
I'm 6'1 and I met Taker at a convention in 2019 and met JBL back in April and I suprised how close to Taker's height he was
Now that's a pro wrestler, through and through. Almost 20 years later and he's still blurring the lines between reality and kayfabe, lol.
OK...There it is from the source. It does make sense regarding the height of JBL and the reach to land that chairshot properly. He was right...that chairshot could have hit him in the face if JBL was standing upright.
Undertakers leadership is way overrated in my opinion. If your the locker room leader and the locker room is knowingly toxic as hell then im going to go out on a limb and say that as the leader he allowed it and contributed to the toxic and bullying behavior. Hope somebody stood up to Taker behind the scenes and told him to mind his own damn business.
I had a slightly recurring dream where Undertaker was being a dick to me for no reason.
I don't think anybody would, no gain in doing so. And if the talent was spread so thin at the time due to injuries, why would he give anyone a pass regardless of who they are? Undertaker is smarter than that so I think the statement was a lie, which is sad for someone like him.
@@CtKEngage I would stand up to taker
@@jugjug4302 nah it wouldn't be worth it, unfortunately you can't mess with the head honcho like that. He comes from a time of ridiculous behavior not being considered toxic and that's just the way he is 🤷♂️ his position of power can't be challenged.
@@CtKEngage how wouldn't it be worth it. My psychologist said to step out of my comfort zone and standing up to undertake is getting out of my comfort zone as I'm learning new things by how is it standing up to people in power other other just standing up to people in the same level as me
The only guy I wanted to see work with Shawn Michaels. The battle of Super Kicks. I thought they were related.
JBL is the last true heel and one day he’ll get props for that
No? He was trying to sexually assault people backstage? That’s not being a heel, that’s called being an attempted rapist.
In WWE yeah, definitely not in all of wrestling
What about the Hardy Lesnar and Lesnar Kendrick One
Aye 🔥
ill always remember hating right to censor as heels so good at there job
Meaney should have sued. Get his beating JBL who big whoop.
Fans (including me) wanted to believe it was stiffer than it should've been, but if you watch an unedited version it's really not that bad. I think JBL's especially-cartoonish sell was his way of letting smarks know: "I didn't really let this guy bash my head in"
No it was bad... almost everyone who was there said that chair shot was louder than the pyro, don't know how tough JBL is in reality but he sustained a very real concussion after that shot, doesn't matter at the end of the day though because that match started his last real feud with batista
JBL deserved that chair shot.
I think Stevie has read Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. Have you 🧐
wouldnt bother me but wasnt richards fight or receipt to do. Now Im glad he got his face busted by Masters lol
He is hbk stunt double
Disappointed that Stevie took it so easy on him
Still want to hear the story when joey styles knocked out in jbl
Would live to have joey on the show, but he seems to have walked away from the business
All the commenters on here clearly didn’t listen to what he said and are just injecting their on opinions into it.
Hey Rene why are you always in the freaking dark
Lets be honest here the stories before that chair shot was well deserved. But after, looks like JBL didn't learn his lesson as he was still was doing it.
Is like the story between Flair and Bishoff. Everybody wanted to deck him for the shit he pull in WCW.
These aren't receipts these are debts. Everybody should pay their debt if they pull shit like this to someone else.
Now that’s kind of hypocritical for undertaker to criticize Stevie Richards for hitting someone to hard with a chair I’ve seen him hit plenty of people hard with a chair and there was a match with he and mr Kennedy he nearly killed him with how hard he hit him with that chair shot
Does the full interview come soon?
Tomorrow
@@cafederene alright I'll definitely watch that
ahhh Stevie, don't backpedal dude, you had the right to defend your friend, JBL got whacked. Don't the story by over explaining everything trying to save face
Jbl would beat undertaker up 9 out of 10 times in a real backstage fight.
Nice try Stevie, but we all know that was 100% intentional - and good on you!
C'mon Stevie, just pretend it was revenge for Blue Meanie. Everyone understands.

Nothing is more sad, disrespectful to oneself, than to do something "courageous", and then "walk it back" or apologize. I am sorry, but that's gutless. Sorry Stevie, but I just lost a ton of respect....
