Stevie gave us one of the most memorable chair shots in the history of the business… thank you!
Oh we talked about it 😁
I can still hear the sound of that chair whacking JBL on the head, as a kid I wasn't really familiar with dirt sheets but I knew that chair shot Stevie gave JBL was payback for the One Night Stand incident.
Yeah the Philly came out of him.
Bet JBL doesn’t remember it
That story though.
"You know what that's a great idea"
The man gets compromise.
Having the balls to make this Stevie Night Heat thing work is why he's so underrated even creatively. That was some fun watching
"For all you know, the way I act could very well be an act. Or maybe it isn't. I could be the most dangerous, most vicious one of the bunch, because no one takes me seriously!" - Steven Richards
So much respect for this. Compare to the majority of guys that cry and moan about gimmicks and booking...... Love the guy's that just own what they're given and run as far as they can with it.
One of the best Super Kicks in the biz. But when a Super Kick was a finisher and actually ended the match. Like HBK said one time "The kids are doing 10 superkicks and its flash and looks cool but just goes to show how good mind is, I only need to strike you with it once and its over".
These guys don’t like HBK so you’re the only comment that doesn’t get a like from the channel 😂
@@pandavelli8176 and I been with them when they had 300 subs? Lol how sad boys..
@@coded3604 No I think I was wrong, I watched a different video where they were talking good about Shawn. I don’t know what the reason is they didn’t like it 😂
@@pandavelli8176 I was going to say lol I'm sure the boys never seem it. I been with Rene and James before Paul was even on here lol
He doesn't look like he has aged at all since 2007
Grey hair is clear signs of aging, his skin looks good bc he takes care of himself and isn't a druggie like 90 percent of the population.
“That’s a great idea. I made these tights just in case you came up with this idea.”
😂😂😂😂
Hands up & void of any accountability is literally every Johnny Ace story
Combining the talent of Stevie with Heat's hidden gem matches was a great combo!
Both Stevie and Raven the last few months he was there were really good on heat
I never knew this. That’s dope Stevie orchestrated all that to make Heat more watchable
Stevie Richards shoots are always a great interview, good story teller
Love Stevie interviews. He’s a guy they definitely could’ve done more with yet he never comes across as bitter.
Awesome! Stevie Richards and Rene, two genuine good guys in wrestling!
This clip alone should have over 1 million views looool! well deserved Stevie Night Heat was my favourite show, it was always a great episode of Heat when Stevie runs the show, Victoria, Spike, Goldust, Coach and Al Snow they all helped to make it great and entertaining television and to me was every bit as interesting as Raw...this story is a classic, I have never seen Rene crack up so much on the podcast looool
Yeah dude Sunday night heat with Garrison Cade vs Rosey was way better than raw. Shut the fuck up
That chair shot Stevie put on JBL was one of the most ruthless chair shots I ever seen lol even better that JBL deserved it!
Stay tuned
Stevie was such a great talent, reliable, great worker, I just can't believe he couldn't get over.
Stevie Night Heat was the greatest, I loved it
Stevie - "WE'RE TAAAAKING OVVERRRR"
Steven Richards deserved better than the WWE. He is so charismatic and talented.
I loved the minor weekly shows like Shotgun Saturday Night and Sunday Night Heat. Shout-out to WCW Saturday Night and WCW Worldwide as well.
aww buzzing to hear this full episode
😂 coach and Al snow were a pretty good duo on Sunday Night Heat
My favorite version of Sunday Night Heat consisted of Stevie Richards, Raven and D’lo Brown. Short period but I remember all of that to this day.
Hell yes. I love Stevie. Watching heat when I was a kid he was my guy. Velocity it was chavo, val venis,Paul london, taijiri etc.
Stevie Night Heat was a highlight of WWE back then, hands down 1 of the best
Stevie night heat awesomeness
My God. Steph was clueless. 😂🤣🤦♂️
Glad you’re doing well Stevie!
I was a weird kid that liked Right To Censor. You looked like badass Jehovah’s witnesses.
This is fucking tremendous!
Amazing podcast
God I love this interview.
Johnny Ace ....i have some feelings about that guy man corporate sheep
@3:26 - Very Funny 😂
What a great and funny story.
2:33 "Stevie Night Heat Championship based on the Winged Eagle Belt - I'm making a belt where I will defend it, and Spike will just beat me for it right off the bat."
Haha! loved the story. Stephanie … 😏
Stevie Night Heat was legendary
I used to love Stevie Night Heat & Velocity
All Stevie Nothing but Heat it was on his tights 😆 🤣
Hello from Australia! If you guys don't have them already, I need a Café de René coffee mug so I can enjoy my latte whilst watching the show.
stevie sounds like matt walsh
This is literally the funniest thing! OMG lmao
3:50 the wwe higher ups sound insecure and deluded as f#ck. who ignores someone’s idea then says it back to them like it’s there own ? Like do they really believe they are that superior? It’s mental
Oh man. I had forgotten about Stevie Night Heat.
Stevie Night Heat should be a podcast
Always a Stevie fan, i remember how he gave it his all on WWE's ECW last legs. Stevie is the man.
Found a Stevie Night Heat Clip 😂
ruclips.net/video/ZaLdK2p15cQ/видео.html
It was during my childhood days it was hilarious how he decided to run Sunday night lol
Sunday night Heat and velocity had some great matches.
before I compliment one person here its for nothing to do with the others. just haven't heard/ watched enough to have an educated opinion. anyway, what a great guy Stevie Richard is. he wasn't my favorite wrestler in ECW. I thought the "Daisy Dukes" he wore were too effeminate for my taste. anyway, his skill in the ring was still great. even with RTC in WWE, but for me it's been
Stevie's YT channel and his content. one of the most humble people I've had the pleasure of watching and listening too. I love his breakdowns of specific moves. he can take a 10sec clip from one match and make 15min video on our that keeps you right there and not scrolling for the next more interesting video. he does a great job with his content and I thank him and wish him continued success with his channel.
and thanks to you for posting this.
Make it their idea
i remember that it was a good gimmick
I felt like Sunday night heat was the workhorse shows, don’t get me wrong Raw and smack down were good. But so many good wrestler who were underrated such as Steven Richard’s busted there ass on velocity or Sunday night heat
How many screens/ people can you have on there at once? Would be cool to have like 10 one day
Stevie Night Heat had a 7 month run until upper management found out...shows how much they paid attention to the C list shows. They probably could've had random fans wrestling on Velocity and Metal without notice 😂
Stevie and Victoria were one of my fav duos to watch. "LOOK STEVIE! I'M GODZILLA!". Victoria was secretly one of the funniest people. They would've been money if they were utilized better!
So what Sunday night heat pre taped
On Friday, Saturday Sunday night or Monday before raw aired lived ??
only thing i remember about Sunday Night Heat, thats how good of a gimmick it was.
This sounds like it was fun as hell 2 b a part of
Stephanie McMahon being the head of writing and having her hands more in WWE was the cancer Vince McMahon told Ric Flair he'd bring to the WWE to kill it, not the NWO.
Steph sucks. 👎 Nobody wanted her on tv, beyond the Ministry of Darkness and dating Test...Yet there she was.
The McMahon-Helmsley Era sucked in 01, SO Let's do it again later years later and have Sting beat us!!!!
I liked Steph as an on-air talent when she still would get her ass kicked and all that, but she had zero business being anywhere near creative. She ran WWE viewership into the ground with her reign.
@@mykoniichistorychannel Hell yes...By 2003 everyone had peaced out because it blew so much.
Ruthless Aggression Era had so many good talents, but the story lines just hurt your brain to watch. 🤕 🧠
That was amazing stuff back then
I'll Show You, you'll See
Heat 🔥 twas a good show
Bonjour!
You should interview someone from the FBI fully blooded Italians
I still wonder how he felt when they were about to do the Battle Royal for the title in 04 and Vince comes out just to bury him specifically saying; "What if... What if Steven Richards were to win this thing?!"
Was it a rib or was he informed beforehand? Either way it was hilarious at the time.
trips give stevie his gm status back and be the GM of STEVIE NIGHTS MAIN EVENT 😂
Hilarious that they didn’t even watch their product
Good stuff
Ill show u you'll see 🙈😉
Stevie for Raw GM
I SHOW you see
So was Sunday Night heat pretaped before Raw aired?? Or did they taped it Sunday for an 1 hr show
Should do an interview with a train
Stevie doesn’t age
stevie was one of the greatest jobbers of all time
The best wrestlers turn chicken shit into chicken salad
FKD High School baby
Christianity is as much of a work as wrestling is.
stevie being a wacko christian bothers me
i grew up in a fundamentalist family with a preacher father, so i see through it
The first time you watched the pastor's split the pot, I mean the offering after a Revival service, you'll realize that they're doing it all for money and exploiting the needs of very desperate sad people
