I mean, as a wrestling fan, I agree with him. Idk about morons perse, but we're definitely easily manipulated.
Can't believe I haven't seen this Johnny Gargano interview before
That was the nicest way I’ve ever heard anyone say “you guys are a bunch of idiots.”
True lol
It’s one of the greatest performances in wrestling ever. I love that he did it. Fuck Hogan.
The YTP video of him doing the Hogan impersonation is one for the ages. It's hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I took the time to count the "brothers" I think it came out to like 47
@@daleharris3809 Haha nice.
I love that YTP. They have a ton of good WWE YTPs
I was there live in D.C for that SummerSlam. Aweusome match and night.
It was surreal to see Hogan return to WWE to work with guys like Shawn and Taker after they had become the faces to the company in his absence. They were only really starting out when he was first around, but they were now more on his level and had created their own legends by the time he came back.
Shawn saying wrestling fans are ... special..aka small yellow bus 😂
How old is Shawn? He still looks like he's in amazing shape.

Gaaaaayyyyyy
Still loved that match against hogan. Priceless.
97 shawn was glorious and 97 was the best year in wrestling
At then end, I thought he was going to say: "They may call me the Showstopper, but in reality the show must go on."
Worked that show. Talked to him coming off the elevator that day backstage, guy was my hero. Couldn’t have been more cool.
Yeah,sure you did! 😉 😆 😂
And everybody clapped?

How is he in such good shape crazy

You’re also a mark
@@ndr523we all are😂
I’ve always been curious what kind of car/truck Shawn Michaels drives. More than likely a pickup just can’t pinpoint the make.
In his documentary, he's driving a Jeep Renegade 😂😂😂😂😂
I wish more people would play with the "real behind the scenes."
It really went over their heads when Shawn said they make it much bigger than it seems. Didn't expect claps to make me laugh
It went over my head. Explain?
Shawn is ripped here
I’m so damn happy he shared how easy it is to manipulate fans. It’s always been weird from my school times to now hearing all the unbelievable things fans Whole-heartedly believe 🤦🏻♂️
Hey I was gullible at the time okay I really thought Kane and undertaker were brothers
I love how Shawn was like, “you marks are the easiest to manipulate,” and then they all applauded.
The audience not getting the point and clapping just to clap INFURIATES me lmfao
Yep. They are just in it for themselves. Just how they love their stupid chants and all that too. It's so they can feel apart of the show

Love it. Wrestling fans are such easily manipulated nerds 😂
I loved that match because the way Shawn was overselling!😂😂😂
Shawn looking jacked.
175lbs with 14" arms is nowhere near "jacked."
Shawn is absolutely shredded
Yeah that's what I thought when I saw his belly.
Gay alert! 📸 smile

The best of all time!
I fucking love this dude 😂😂😂😂
Shawn vs hulk is absolute gold . One of the funnest and funniest matches I ever watched 😅
9 mins of Shawn Michaels calling wrestling fans dumb af
At the end of the day at least im not crosseyed
HBK casually saying wrestling fans are gullible delusional, morons but then following it up with a “God bless you” 🤣🤣🤣
It’s very southern Baptist of him
He ain't wrong about us 😂
"God bless you" cause you got me paid lol
Internet smarks who hate on things because of what happens backstage are and always will be the worst of wrestling fans
Shawn's muscle mass is STILL impressive damn
this was 6 years ago lil bro
I was just going to mention this, that it looks like dude has bigger arms here in retirement than he did when he was active! Shawn was never anything remotely close to a "body guy"; to the contrary he is always mentioned as the very first name, the epitome of the much smaller, more athletic types that was turned to in the wake of the steroid scandal and defined the most beloved era of wrestling ever. Perhaps, indeed, part of his holding up so well is the very fact that he probably took it easy on the PEDs when younger in bodybuilding you see this often that these are the guys who can still look good and don't face health crises when older. This isn't a current video but he still looks quite good today. Especially for a guy who'd gone balls to the wall with something as generally, multiple-ways unhealthy as pro wrestling.
@@salvadorromero9712 He was always soo tiny(and still is) when he wrestled. He was a mid card guy at best, who obviously had some connections that made him a "heavyweight" title contender.

Honestly that’s like 2 hours worth of water for me
I'd likely drink it all because I'd be anxious as fuck doing an interview in front of a crowd.
YES
Them stage lights can get to be pretty damn hot.
Hogan: I'll win the first one brother. Then we'll come back the next month and I'll win that one too. Then brother, we'll do huge business for the blowoff. It only works for me if I go over there too brother.
I am not trolling when i type this. BUT, i seriously think HBKs match against Hogan at SS, is one of his top 5 best performance. Its pretty much equalient to HBK wrestling a broom stick.
🤣 good troll bait
@@SantaPorter420 lol... i am seriously not trolling though. The fact that HBK did all those flips/bumps. While Hogan was just standing there. I mean.... that's pretty impressive from HBK, during this time.
@@fpshooterful his top 5 best performances
Over all the WrestleManias you genuinely think him doing a handstand while Hogan stood there was better
If the answers yes, I got nothing for ya, i just prefer actual matches
@@SantaPorter420 You gotta remember, i typed PERFORMANCE. There is a difference, VS matches. It takes two to tango, so to speak. The fact that HBK was able to pull of all those moves against Hogan, by himself, shows how talented he was.
@@fpshooterful
So him being athletically gifted and acting like a fool, was somehow a better PERFORMANCE than the majority of his other classic PERFORMANCES
Hey you enjoyed it, cool
I didn't
I was right that was damn good troll bait
Nobody is better than Shawn Michaels. 💔.
Hogan was so bad Shawn had to oversell but that only amplified Hogan's shortcomings
Funniest thing In wrestling ever.
That and shock master.
People in the Comments, and HBK Haters overall are exactly what Shawn said. Too damn easy to manipulate. Grow up. Get a Hobby. Stop taking Fake Pro Wrestling so damn seriously.
Greatest wrestler of all time, HBK
The fans don't give the wrestlers and bookers enough credit for their ability to manipulate their emotions. Most of the times the fans think they spotted a shoot, they just got worked again. That's how the business needed to evolve with social media, figuring out a way to be a step ahead of the audience
It already is.. been actually. Most of the big "behind the scenes" stories, shoot interviews, etc. is where the kayfabe is stronger than ever. For example, all the Hogan hate is definitely manipulated for us to hate him.. that's the point. If you pay attention you can see how they manipulate our emotions and "guide" our hate or love to whatever or whoever they want
@@extremepop324i hate Hogan because I grew up in the 80s watching him win every single match, it got really old really fast
@@SantaPorter420 You're right It did get old and we all started hating it. But thats why he went full heel and now wanted you to hate him. John Cena shoulda went heel too when people were tired of him

It's true. People hear cuss words a few times on WWE, they are like "ATTITUDE ERA IS BACK!!!! NO MORE PG!!!" lol
I had people telling me about it all excited, and I just cracked up laughing🤣
It’s been going on for well over 6 or 7 months consistently. I’m not saying it’s back but the content definitely draws some similarities

Just to demonstrate how much wrestling has changed, there were 8 matches on that summerslam 05 card, 3 had titles on the line. In summerlam 2024 there were 7 matches, 6 had titles on line. Feels like the art of building feuds not around a title has been lost

The match overselling was hilarious- too funny. 😃

What truth? He’s obviously bullshitting about not overselling - I’ve seen plenty of old Michaels matches where he didn’t flop around like he did with Hogan
Yeah because Dave meltzer wants to make it worse than what it actually is and problem is people actually believe meltzer. I don't like Shawn michaels but at least he was honest. And Shawn at least said Hogan was the biggest name in the business.
HBK might claim to be Christian, but he is up there with Hogan for liars in the business
Man much love and respect to Shawn 😊
I loved what Michaels did in that match. It was a perfect response to Hogan's bull crap.

'97 HBK...GOAT Heel
Not really, while he was acting like a heel people were cheering him because of dx and because they hated Bret Hart
Best heel ever had to be piper, people hated him so bad he got stabbed on the way to the ring
