First off, I am glad that someone filmed this concert even if it was done on a crude videocam by the standards of 2022 that was not plugged into the soundboard. The pure raw, drunk, high young energy of everyone, Ryan, the band and the audience in some divey place where bands did their thing. This is rock and roll at its best. Just a bunch of very talented kids getting together to jam it out and kick some ass. The world seemed then to be a fucked up place but compared to now, there was still some hope left that pure rock and roll could still save us. Godamn this is some good fucking shit!! Sure as fuck wished I had been there on that night, but at least it got recorded.

Had the privilege of seeing Whiskeytown open for John Fogerty back in the last century. Never heard of them at that point. Front row. Could see up Caitlin's dress and Ryan's nose. His nose was a mess and he was pretty messed up. They started weak and out of tune. By the third song, they hit a connective groove and tore the place up. A fan since then. Shame they split up. Too young, too much talent and it might be safe to say too many drugs. Either way, they left their mark. If Ryan would've started out in the early 70's, he'd have been as big as anybody from that era.
