Saw them Spring of 86 with Fishbone and the Bus Boys at UCSB. To say she probably had more energy than Brian O'Neil and Angelo Moore tells you just how electric they were live.
Now,where'd he go ,with my home ,stereo ,and my compass is malfunctioning, time to get another Lone Justice pulled me through alot of very alone times ,,,,,that lead me to live and get throigh another day of another year
the record producers tried to make a bit of coin because of Maria Mckee's talent and look and she got chewed up, which is a pity because she was immensely talented
I’m jealous, big time. I saw so many great bands in the 80s, probably every one you can think of…. EXCEPT LJ. I would trade them all to see her in their prime. 10000% the lost jewel of rock and roll.
Maria mckee did find fame as a 'One Hit Wonder' (with the mainstream audience) with Show Me Heaven. A song which served no justice at all to her talent
It's a shame Geffen, the record company they were signed to, wouldn't leave Lone Justice alone to do their thing, and just overhyped them constantly and made them change their sound. Sadly, after the second album, Geffen had succeeded in destroying a great band and they broke up as a result.
I can't agree, but Ms. MM was on a different plane. She was a blazing star that did not attain the popularity that I thought she would after seeing the band at the old Palace in Hollywood. There are so many variables in any career in the arts, and talent alone is never enough.
I saw Lone Justice open up for U2 back in '87. Was blown away - a force of nature, indeed!
Great band, and holy god, Maris McKee was just a force of nature.
Should have been a massive star
Almost 40 years later ... I'm still blown away by her singing and dancing.
I sure miss you Don.
those eyes!
Without question, THE GREATEST American group of the 1980s.
Uh? What?
@@johnchambers1380 That's what I said pal 😆. I stand by my comment 1,000% and so do the five others who liked it.
dancing on pure instinct no one quite like her
What energy fantastically.superb.voice.
I love her so much.
Saw them in a bar back in 1985 live. Michigan..😉😁❤️
wow! Where?
Soap, Soup And Salvationのセーラーも👍🏻
当時もっともっと認知されて欲しかったです🥺

Saw them live at the Palamino where they recorded the evening. Amazing.
This is so good!
This is the song that sticks out from the night I saw them.

A nod to X with the hungry wolf changes and the bo diddly style drum playing like DJ Bonebreak
I’m glad you like the drums, that was my best friend Don Heffington smashing them like that. R.I.P. Don.
A great kick ass band with the always fab Maria McKee
Love this, very good rendering of Fade Away, Buddy Holly.
True that but the actual root of that beat is from Bo Diddley
NOT Fade Away.
Really glad to know I have access to find
My self therapy clean the house music,,,,
Saw them live. A wonderful experience. Too bad they fizzled out. It wasn't for talent ...that's for sure. !!!!

They were supposed to be the next big thing. Good thing I bought the lp.

Hard Rockabilly
Where was this ?
Rock Am Ring. Nuremberg Race Track.
What the industry did to her was criminal
Justice doesn't exist. And the story of Lone Justice proves beyond all measure that it certainly doesn't exist in the music business.

That was painful.
maria is the
only talent
in this band.
So incredibly not true. Not sure if you meant this as a tribute to MM, but this band was stacked with talent
@@bcal4877 you got that right..
Maria McKee without the Lone Justice have lost a songwriter as Etzioni and a pure innocent energy
Yep. A brilliant voice and a force of nature + very unoriginal band.
