I wore that Tom T. Hall Project album out back in the day. Certainly love this Whiskeytown take on "Funeral". One of the best "covers albums" I've ever heard. Tom T. Hall - what a songwriter.
@@sparkleh-wy7jz you obviously lack any taste or have the ability to decipher what is good music whatsoever. if somebody told you beating on a frying pan was good you believe that too. and it would appear you are Tone def and stupid at the same time. but that doesn't come as a shock, considering the current state of what they called country music

Boy, finally someone I can agree with. This is dreadful, especially with comparison with the original. Tom maybe didn't have the best voice in the world but at least he could sing those songs with melody and feeling. Here it's like two, three notes mixed together with robotic singing.
I don't get out much, but when i do....i listen to whiskeytown covering tom.t.hall.
six years later, I want to meet you :)
Right on

Boozeville couldn't hold a candle to The Cardinals.
@@userer4579 TRUTH. Saw them close to 30 times and no two shows were the same. It was an incredible time to be a fan from 04-09.
Cardinals for me. Whiskeytown was a brief, brilliant flash of light.
No doubt

God this is awful compared to Tom T's original.
I like Tom T. but I strongly disagree. It’s better.
