Love the Nakias, Steve and JJ insights about playoff basketball. They have a great chemistry and I always learn something new about how teams adjust to one another. I especially like the reference to Eric Spoelstra's definition of winning the skirmishes-end of quarter, first half finish and the first 2-3 minutes of the the third quarter and fourth quarter. As a long time Warriors fan I am acutely aware of how defense wins championships and when it is absent it can horribly wrong.

"Grifting" (Selling or hunting for the foul) is both the Lakers strength and weakness. Denver knows this and has won "Fast break" points over that lapse or pause when the Lakers don't get the call or picking themselves off the floor (AD & Reaves). "Hoops Tonight" brought this up in really good analysis along with the mental breakdowns.

That 1st half was an absolute embarrassment for the Mavs. They looked completely unprepared, almost like the moment was too big for them. Kudos to the Clippers for taking care of business. I’ve seen a lot of people this morning (Mavs fans included) overreacting to the Mavs performance and calling it Clips in 5. I don’t see that happening. This series at the very minimum is going 6, very likely 7.

Philly having Lowry being able to reel everyone back in when things get out of hand is gonna make the difference in this series.
The Knicks don’t have that. Lowry can manage the game and let Maxey attack vs Brunson has to focus the entire game.

The NBA is shifting to having players that can play defense. We are going to start seeing teams that 1 through 5 are defensively sound as ronin the past you can hide a good offensive player on defense

THIS COMMENT IS FOR JJ. Only. ❤
This is not direct criticism, just constructive criticism with love.
I know you read Twitter comments.
I hope you do read these comments.
I found out I am not the only person who feels this way about the introduction of swearing on your podcasts.
I am one of your avid admirers, when you played basketball, and now as a businessman.
You will be surprised how many people, (probably all) will still tune in to listen to you without the swearing 😊 . You are that good.
Your swearing is making many viewers very uncomfortable.
If you can switch it off in other forums, why not do it for your own business?
You were one of the best BEFORE all the swearing. Why change it?
You are creative. Your content is great quality.
You have a great, no-nonsense personality that people love and admire.
The swearing is so unnecessary and unprofessional.
It set the tone for guests to follow.
It sets the tone for the young basketball players who look up to you to follow.
Your podcasts is a Global business.
I am sure your objective is to expand viewership, not lose viewers.
I unsubcribed to the podcast with you and Lebron after the 2nd episode.
I loved the basketball knowledge, but refused to listen to F😢k $$ this and Mother Fk$$ that.
I like entertainment, but with some thought for viewers.
    I am a basketball fan.
Many of the NBA podcasts seem to be "Let's See Who Can Swear The Most" podcasts. 😊
Not much quality content and the invited guests just follow with the swearing.
Why not? If the host is swearing, I can too.
    It is embarrassing.
    Good leadership is so important.
The 2 gentleman to the right of the screen never swore through the whole podcast.

i feel like at times, Porter\Aaron Gordon are jealous of Jamal Murray because he actually has talent (unlike them).
They need to do a better job of making things easy on him like Iggy\Dray did for Curry.
