I like how the MLA, QD-OLED technology & Mini-led makes outside sunny scenes look like it's actually outside in the sunshine compared to the overcast look from other TVs without the awesome new technology
G3 is next level.Because the brightness is not enough, every color is so deep on G2 or other Oled TV. Every color is so nature on G3, look the sky , the bule is so nature, no OLED TV can do it, only mini led can do it. When I saw G3 side by side with QN95C( Samung best miniled TV), G3 almost has the same brightness of QN95C, G3 is a OLED TV has the same brightness of QN95C, you know what it mean? it mean NEXT LEVEL!
@shaneneufeld6942. Thank you so much for the kind words. Thank you so much for your support as well. That is a very good question. I would probably recommend that if you are considering an 83inch LG g3, I would recommend that you should just get an 83-inch g2. They are basically the same tv, and you will save a considerable amount of money. There are lots of videos out there comparing the 2 tvs, and they are virtually identical in most ways. Just my personal opinion. Hope this helps you out. Thank you again for all your support. Please lmk how you make put. I'd love to hear what you decided on.
Ok so I haven't finished your video yet so you may say or touch on the topic.... But I've heard LG firmware updates are usually good and help their product and picture. Thanks man keep up the good work!
TheNickgeorge88. What's going in? Nice to hear from you again. What I will say is yes, I had this TV about a year now. And there really haven't been many updates. It's about a handful that I can remember but more if the updates have been more recent. And the most recent uodate on the g2 definitely improved it by letting the tv stay brighter for longer. It basically lets the ABL go longer. So overall, to answer your question, yes, it absolutely always improved. The tv never has it truly disappointed. There have been times when the settings were bugged, but those were mistakes and unintentional. Lg was quick to fox those after finding them. Lg doesn't mess around with their image quality with software updates, and they don't negatively impact the processing or motion in any of their updates like other brands do. And that's why they are so trusted. Which is well deserved, so thank you, lg

Great content. Keep up the good work. How do you find the g2 versus the g3 in game mode for pc gaming? i heard the g3 brightness dim down quite a bit. Is it still better than the g2 for HDR gaming. Thanks again
@grancis147741. Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. I am not actually experienced with gaming on any of these tvs via pc gaming. I can only speak for gaming on a console. I love gaming on the LG G3. I think their tone mapping is personally the best. And I think their motion handling in gaming is also the best. As far as brightness goes, I think the g3 is considered dim when compared to the s95c. But if you adjust your tone mapping nicely. And turn on Hgig, then go to the game optimizer menu through the g3. Use the settings to adjust black and white levels, colors, and input lag on boost. You can come up with some of the most beautiful gaming picture settings to go along with great input lag. The game optimizer in the lg g3 is next to none. Hands down.
Hey, Thank you for this video, i'm not really fussed and bothered by details, im a average viewer, i can get G2 alot cheaper, you reckon i should get the G2 or G3, would i even know the difference? just wanted your professional view on it, Thanks again for a great video.
Whay do you think of lg vs sony oleds? Ive always felt the sonys have better processing and a sharper image. I also like the android tv for chromecasting from my phine or laptop
@Nico-ys6oc. Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. For me, it depends on what model year for the Sony oleds. To me, an a90j and older I like better cause the motion was much better in my opinion. But I owned the A95K. And I couldn't stand the motion processing, especially during panning scenes. It was a huge letdown. I even did what I had to do in the settings, and it still was noticeable. But I think that every time I purchased a Sony with the hopes of feeling like paying the premium they charge for their tvs was worth, it has always been a disappointment for me. Built quality is top level, but they slack inane features that other top brand have all while also having superb build quality as well. So overall, I would personally prefer the lg or even now with the qd oleds tech the samsung qd oled over the sony. Last year, I purchased both the s95b and the A95k. I got sucked into the hype of the a95k being the tv of the year. And I could not justify the 1000 dollar price difference of the Sony. Especially me being a huge gamer. The S95B was a better tv in many ways for gaming. And motion was better on the samsung s95b.
@mordimeshita1754. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. I agree with you there. It does have quite the picture, and I think the motion handling is exceptionally, at least, from what I have been seeing on reviews. I haven't yet seen the tv in person, but it looks really good. Do you have it?
@@consumerreview2k Yep, I picked it up last week and after a couple of initial hickups it's settled in nicely. Motion and picture is amazing and looks as good as the S95C and G3. I'm sure if I had them side by side I may find a flaw but right I just can't believe I'm watching a LCD TV (until I look off angle, but even then no blooming just colors go drab). But at $2,100 for the 85 inch it's pretty darn hard to justify the S95C and G3. And it has the BEST Tv sound I ever heard! My only issue is Dolby Vision doesn't get bright, it looks like it's in "filmmode" and I can't get it quite dialed in. If you like "accurate" it's fine. I don't.
Only like accurate personally in films with primarily dark scenes. Nit a fan of filmmaker modes myself. But that is a popular complaint regarding regarding dolby vision in any tv, I believe, or allot of them, to say the least. The S95C is very quirky. Lots of software and handshake issues. The S95B was more solid, in my opinion. I am wondering what samsung is thinking lately. It's like they prosper in certain areas and completely miss the boat in others. Not to happy with the s95c at the moment due to connection issues with the ps5. I've done everything and some and still get drop-out signals. This has happened to me before when it came to samsung tvs in the past as well. Specifically, a ps4 to a q8 qled. I'm not sure why this happens.
Yea, im in the process of starting my claim. I'm in the middle of setting my nee comparison video up as we speak between the s95c and g3 gaming in depth. And you will see that I actually had to cut my video in half and continue on in a separate video to continue. It was a nightmare. All because of a signal handshake issue. It is extremely frustrating.
@@consumerreview2k I can’t wait! You’re absolutely right about the 3D pop in the LG oleds. It’s so powerful in the G3! It even pops with regular HD content in SDR upscaled by the G3. That A9 processor is so good! I know Sony’s XR processor has been getting all of the attention these past few years but the A9 deserves a lot of credit too.
@@consumerreview2k Thanks! It’s been a while. I finally replied to a previous post about my initial thoughts on the G3 and I’m blown away! I can’t believe how good it is. We we’re watching Transformers Rise of the Beasts last night and the detail in the fur is so lifelike I swear I could touch it on the screen.
All other tv reviewers are saying g3 and s95c have very same 3D look but you are saying g3 has more can it be the panel lottery? I have seen both of them in person but I didn’t saw any difference or 3D look to them both were very flat in comparison
Can you send me a link to those videos. I experience the opposite. G3 has more depth, and the main reason for returning the s95c was that it was flat, but the colors were nice.
@@mexdrago3009 bro you can see video of any reviewers like fomo, Brian, kg, all of them said the they both are capable of same 3D effects Also I saw them both before buying they were flat
@idkBlud923. Nice to hear from you again. You know I have to look into that more because I didn't notice a better depth perception that gives that 3d pop on the s95c as much as I notice it on the g3 at all. The next video I'm going to do is between the s95c and g3 about these same topics. I hope your there and hope to see you in the comments on that video too. That video will very coming very soon.
@WarriotrBlood777. There's always that battle in a conventional Woled where the brighter they get, the more washed out they look due to that white sub pixel. But I think the MLA TECH has done a terrific mitigating that and helps the picture much clearer. The g2 may look more clear at times because it can not reach a higher peak brightness but also looks more dim. Once you dial in the picture settings, the g3 is more versatile and brighter. I can get a more colorful picture while at the same time making the picture clearer. It does take time, but that's the best part to me.
@stee3036. Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. You know it's funny you say that cause I just finished watching the released specs on the A95L. and I gotta say they look good. But I don't want to fall into the hype and waste all that money again like I did last year. Cause I bought both the 65-inch A95K and the 65-inch s95b last year and was definitely not as happy as I thought I would be with the A95k. Paid such a high premium, and the picture wasn't even that much better than the s95b at all. And it had fewer picture features. What I do like about the A95K is how much you can push and customize settings. Top notch. The A95L is adding a dedicated game menu, which is a step in the right direction. And it's the only qd iled with dolby vision like last year. But dolbly vision is not a deal breaker for me. But no, I have not made my mind up yet, lol. I'm just not a FSN of any brand at all charging a premium without going the extra step to making it worth it. And that's how I felt with the A95K. .
@consumerreview2k I traded in a LG C I forget which one like 6 years ago because I got permenent burn in after a week or less of playing this game calked paragon that was cancelled and almost wasnt able to traded it in at Best Buys and got Sony Bravia LCD one of the top ones I think second to the best and I've been with that and it does not even provide HDR for PS5 I just badly want a new TV .
@addebast. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. I also own the 77inch S95C. Which is another very popular question I get in the comments. I will be making a side by side comparison of which one I like better and what I personally like about the 2 tvs and don't like. Settings, picture, details, etc. I would really like to see you there and would like to see your comments when that video gets posted. I will he doing that video next. Thank you again
@@consumerreview2k it's not really a matter of opinion on that one is it ? They are both about equally bright but the s95c have much better color performance in hdr being a qd oled. Especially in game mode where the G3 falls flat.
@addebast yes I think in terms of color volume/saturation or luminance, the s95c is by fact better in gaming. But in turn, the lg has again, in fact, a better motion handling and a better detail settings menu in gaming when it comes to fine tuning the image. So basically, I think so far, the s95c is a little more plug and play and simple. The lg g3 is more interactive and tunable. Plus, when it comes to opinion on what an individual actually prefers. I would say yes, although most prefer high color volume in gaming, there are an equal number of people who do not prefer to much color saturation when gaming and prefer accuracy. And then there's the hybrid people who want to be able to adjust the colors more independently depending on the actual game they are playing. Which is all logical. Take myself, for example. I live how the qd oleds look color wise when gaming, let's say, playing horizon forbidden West. The vibrancy out of the s95c is superb. But then I will play, let's say, God of war ragnarok. And I prefer the g3 over the S95C because of how you can fine-tune details better, and the 3d pop just looks so clean on the g3. Details and color look more tight and not blown out on the g3. When playing on the s95c, the color can look blown out, playing ragnarok even when the color volume is turned down. And there's no way to fine tune it. It's give and take
@@consumerreview2k Remember it is not oversaturated, if the creator's intent was to include those colors. There is a difference between fulfilling the entire color volume, and adding extra colors. The latter can be corrected by calibration, the former cannot be added. How big of a difference is the processing for motion? And 3D image? I would reckon Samsung are a top tier there as well with the S95C, but maybe not on par still? This would be really interesting if you could focus on in the video. The smart OS is not that interesting for viewers, as guess what, you'll add a Apple TV 4K or nVIDIA Shield in this price range, either way - as LG system is worse than this system as well.
@@consumerreview2k s95c has a much higher colour luminance than G3. Not to be confused with oversaturation. G3 is a woled , meaning it uses white light to boost the brightness and that white light will disaturate color at high luminance . U see it most with fire and neon lights in hdr where s95c can hold on to the colors better

@@consumerreview2k yeah, I couldn’t deal with all the various Samsung weirdness. Especially not at that crazy price.
The colors look washed out on the G3. I would give this new tech a few more years. I prefer the G2.
well.. it's your screen! MLA is way better for color pop and highlights!!
Great comparison. I’m looking for to playing Starfield on my 77G3. That’s going to be insane.
@framejumper. Nice to hear from you again. Yea that sounds sick. Your making me want to get that game now
@@consumerreview2k I can’t wait!
@framejumper the A9 is personally better the the xr in my opinion
Dim game mode
With my 83g2 the motion settings is a big part of the 3d look. In smooth movement is where it stands out the most
@@consumerreview2k thank you so much buddy
g3 Looks a bit washed out in these shots, compared to to g2....
OC God d you already have your mind made up on G3 VS A95L?
I would NEVER downsize.🤦🏻
I initially thought it's Kamala khan lol
I would go with the s95c
@addebast.
