I personally got the G4 after reviewing ALL the pros and cons of each of these great TVs. The G4 is EASILY the best overall TV of these. I am extremely happy with my G4 and still can't believe how super bright it is and it has more ways you can adjust the TV to fit your eyes than the other 2 TVs. You are absolutely correct about everything you said about the G4. G4 all day, everyday, and any day over Sony or Samsung!!!

21.30, the S90D has the best picture quality, the G4 is very bluish and the Sony is kind pinkish for the milk color!

Apparently with the new update 1201 for Samsung, it nerfed the S90D in brightness, but I have the S95D and seemed to improve it better. I can see that the HDR content looked better and it was already great. I noticed in SDR, though, is where the biggest improvement.

LG nailed it this year with alpha 11 processor and well allrounded set with G4

Why does the Sony A95L look the darkest? I own one and it is NOT a dark TV. In fact its the only OLED tv ive ever owned that I had to turnt he brightness down.

Hi og. I recently bought a 65 inch s90d qd oled but the motion handling is horrendous compared to my old lg c7. A lot of stutter judder on youtube videos. Can you make a video where you show some fixes. Thx

After going back and forth between the G4 and the A95L, I purchased the 77” A95L. The up scaling is top notch, picture quality is excellent, and build quality can’t be understated! You can adjust the picture settings to match your own taste. The A95L is not a cheap TV! If you can afford it just buy it, you can thank me later!

Something nobody has talked about is that I believe Sony is trying to get away from offering a oled panel in the future. They did the largest marketing push on the mini led bravia 9 touting it as the next best thing since sliced bread and I think they want to fully control their manufacturing. In a few more gens that’s all they will have to offer.

Great video once the 77G4 hits 3k in the next month or two. I’ll be scooping it up. I’ve been wanting the A95L since it came out but after buying and returning the Bravia 8 I realized Sony motion just isn’t quite there compared to LG. Loved the picture though on that Bravia 8 but I’m sensitive to motion because of bad stigmatism

The Sony looks the worst lol

The Oled TV that I thought looked best, was the G4. It definitely is a big step up, from the non MLA oleds, which were amazing already. The Bravia 9 was super impressive, you lose a little contrast, but the picture pops big time.

I love my S90c when it works, more wow than I have with my G4. But I still think the colors ore over powering most times and too yellow. I want a tv that’s between the LG G4 and QD Oled.

Tisen is wretched. It’s so flaky and the picture settings are so limited. It rarely recognizes my devices and switching inputs is always an unecessary chore. Especially coming fom LG where its all so seemless

I like the LG G4. It doesn’t wow me, but it’s a consistently good picture and everything from hardware to software just works. In many ways the G4s main flaw is once you dial the picture in, the TV is “boring” as everything just works, there’s no drama or excitement with it. Which, reslly is what you want. My S90c PQ is all over the place, sometimes i wows, other time its flat, processing is all over the place, and it has really agressive dimming which annoys me. I just never know what I’m going to get when I watch something. In the mornings I’m blown away by the brightness 2 hrs later it looks flat and dim. I was thinking about returning the G4 and getting the 83 Inch QD OLed but that TV is going to be crazy expensive until BF. and I got such a great deal on my G4. The orger

LG is the best controller. I like the programmable hot keys, it feels good in my hand and I can do everything I need with the Scroll wheel. I don’t know why so many people consantly whine about it. I HATE the Samsung remote. It’s too small and not bery functional and Tisen doesn’t help it.

This is a beautiful representation of why Samsung has better brightness, image clarity, black stabilization, and overall better saturation without appearing dark. The truth here? LG G4 uses Woled panel, made by LG. Samsung uses QDOLED, made by samsung. SONY uses QDOLED, also made by samsung, with an additional filter layer to give it that 'Sony' look. When you go to any place that sells a TV, having these on Display, they will be featured in different areas of the showroom, never side by side, never in a dark room (for real world accuracy)> there are always overhead brights, other sources of light pollution, combined with strategic positioning of models to try and get those sales. Watch this video carefully, the LG panel will show things in a more 'natural' hue, while losing information in the blacks (crushing) and not being nearly as bright as it could be, despite featuring an additional 4th white pixel it it's arrangement, and also being unable to light all 4 sub pixels simultaneously, leading to some issues displaying full color SRGB correctly. Anything bright/highly saturated will show color shift banding on screen, as displayed by LG's own flower demo in 2023. The Sony A95 looks identical to the Samsung S90D, except with a darkened filter look to everything - which is an amazing achievement, somehow looking worse than the Company who made the panel for you. Samsung's QDOLED is simply a 3 pixel arrangement with no white pixel, achieves 100% color accuracy and displays whites by using all sub pixels together. Sony is simply using the best panel and somehow making it worse at a higher price point. Future QD OLED development is promising the ability to maintain current brightness levels with half of the original power input, leading to longer panel life and reduced chance of burn in. This is being done by stacking the panels, allowing the pixels to combine their brightness without sacrificing clarity, response, or contrast. This also has the added benefit of requiring less power and generating less heat. Also keep in mind if you get the LG in the biggest panel size, it won't have the same MLA tech as the smaller ones. Kinda sucks to pay so much to miss out on a feature that kinda helps the LG WOLED not be a worse panel tech.

Upscaling on samsung any good ?

Pound for pound king is definitely the S90D. When you factor in price, the service menu hack to make the television brighter, game motion plus, color vibrancy, and accuracy it's hard to pick any other television. It says alot when the S90D's competitor is the LG C4, but yet most people put it up against the G4, and it comes extremely close and even beats it out in some areas. The S90D is so good that Samsung has to hold it back a little just to even make the S95D beat it out.

I have never seen a television comparison video that literally focuses on everything except the television picture. Why is the remote and sound production off the tv a topic and not reflected in the title? I am half way through and it is still talking about irrelevant topics. If you buy one of these televisions, you are probably going to have an exterior sound system and you are probably hooking it up to an Apple TV with its crappy remote. Sorry, but trying to give valuable feedback...stop focusing on topics users do not care about.

My A95L manufactured 08/2024 and 12/2024 arrived with scuffs/abrasions/micro scratches to the QD-OLED coating on the left and right top corners. Totally unacceptable. I returned the first one and requested that the replacement is not transported on its side. However the replacement is a little better than the first but not flawless and is marked on one of the top corners. In the US Sony have been installing plastic strips at the top and bottom of the screen a few inches thick to combat this. However European examples including the one that has just rolled off the production did not have them fitted. Atleast with the Bravia 9 they now install a layer of cardboard that covers the entire screen on top of the foam in between the polystyrene inserts. I am really on the fence again in returning the A95L and getting a G4 instead for the same price. I am super impressed with the image quality on the A95L for movies/streaming and gaming with A95L.

I think another important part about the LG G4 is that even though it has the WOLED technology it is more tried and tested in regards to durability against screen burn as QDOLED has to work harder and means it has less pixels in order to bring the whites. Also because of the MLA it means it uses less power consumption and you can have it dimmer but you'll get a brighter picture so you would use less power and decrease the chance of screen burn even more. So you get longitivity and less power consumption at the same time. Let me know what you think about this :) I also want to thank you for all your comparisons as you helped me make a decision between these three TVs. I just bought the 83 inch LG waiting for it to arrive soon. Was always a Sony guy and was going to go the a95l route and then thought s90d or s95d would be a better option because of the new panel's and the brightness boost. But for me I feel like LG has more of a cinematic look and that's what was important for me as well as gaming so like you said it ticks all my boxes.

I also know the g4 flip flops less because whites are whites and not some dirty white. I like the extra details from g4 but I rather get the s90d knowning the LG oleds need calibration to look good.

They need to fix the blue light problem with lg tvs. All lg push that blue. That egg was super obvious and 9:00 isn't that bad but you can still see it. I know woled like to push blue so it's not really a LG problem. My LG c1 will do the samething, flips from looking really good to having way to much blue.

Is the A95L under test here is 3rd or 2nd gen QD-OLED ? Heard newer build of A95L are 3rd gen

Nice video review Sony A95L is ald TV and you see it is more darkness list brightness and highlights and it's not sharpness list detail like other TV off Sony AND IT'S STILL EXPENSIVE in the end of the day I don't think I buy Sony this model I prefer mini LED Hisense U8N 👍🏼
