  • Hey guys. I just want to talk about what I thinkneither LG has to do to stay competitive in the premium woled tv space comapred to Samsungs newer panel qd oled tech and also what Samsung has to do to compete and step up with there premium qd oled tech.
    Hope to see what your personal thoughts are, and I am very curious to see what your opinions are about this.
    Thank you so much for all your support, and I hope to see you guys on the next one. Blow those comments up like you usually do. It really does brighten me up.

    LG is working on stacking two of the new types of blue leds on top of eachother in the future panels

    • @consumerreview2k
      @consumerreview2k  День назад +2

      @Tottorul Yes indeed. I have seen something about that before. It is very similar to the concept of which the likes of what apple has done with the newer pads. I see that this will help improve colors, but I wonder if it will be enough to get to the level of color purity that a qd oled can get to. Cause if they can pull that off, then that would be freaking awesome. LG has phenomenal processing. Probably and arguably the best tv processing in the world when specifically speaking about the new A11 processor. I mean, even their last gen processor was great. So if they can somehow figure a panel tech that will definitively compete. I would absolutely love to see that. I know that we consumers would appreciate a good bee panel technology from LG. I just hope LG doesn't go out like the way they did with the mobile phone market. That os pretty much non-existent. That would be ashame to witness after so many years of dominance in the tv market. It would be like watching your favorite toy store closing forever when you're a kid. Heart breaking.

    • @consumerreview2k
      @consumerreview2k  День назад +2

      @user-sw7ln9ro7y yes I have done that on my.own personal time simply just having them next to eachother on a normal day flaming, watching dvds specifically. Both sdr and and hdr. Streaming in sdr and hdr. Sports, youtube etc the list goes on. I would say overall if I had to choose best overall use, although it's very close. The LG g4 is the better tv as it can upscale better, but I think because of the price picture on the s90d being so much lower and cost effective, most people will choose the S90d. Because although the overall processing may not be better on the s90d. It's still providing probably the nicest picture you have ever scene on your life when the time and content calls for it. It really is the value king. I own the A95L and there are times where it blows the A95L and the A95L is still my overall favorite tv of all time. But again the s90d is maybe only 5 to 7% not as good as the A95L for way less then half the price all while still many times out shinning the A95L. It is something special.

      @catalindaniel8017.Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Means allot. Yes for those who care about DV the best way to go would be the g4 or A95L. I do think the G4 DV implementation is better compared to the A95L implementation. I Do think that the G4 has a more physical higher quality build. I also agree that the 5 yr panel.warrantt is amazing and a huge plus.
      Having both tvs in my house. I get to have the privilege to have them sit side by side and check them out at home. And I just can't not admit to all my ppl who take their time to watch. The S90D in my personal opinion is truly an awesome tv. It really is. Especially in gaming and watching movies that display lots of colors such as avatar or transformers, marvel movies, Mario bros. It's just a game changer in the house. So as far as value goes, you can't go wrong, in my opinion.

    Yeah. I'm hoping LG innovates at ces 2025, so I'm going to wait. I love LG, but that big price difference for the G4 isn't doing LG any favors. Best of both worlds all around is definitely the G4, though. And I don't think you meant to say "washed out", maybe less saturated would be better. Conversely, though, many reviewers say in an accurate color mode, there are only specific examples where the additional colors stand out and don't look basically the same.

    • @MISTERMASTER1234
      @MISTERMASTER1234 17 часов назад

      QD-OLED panels use a blue OLED layer as a light source with Quantum Dots color filter this way you get better and brighter colors than those on WOLED technology, QD OLED gets rid of the white subpixel that is being used in WOLED which causes the panel to start to wash out colors when the display gets brighter.

    • @tylerstirling2843
      @tylerstirling2843 День назад +1

      This will ultimately depend on how sensitive you are to the issue, but it was worse than I imagined. So much so, that I sold my QD OLED shortly after receiving it to return to my old WOLED panel which by all other metrics, is not on the same level as the QD. The lifted blacks destroyed contrast and made the image jarringly flat in comparison to what's provided with the inky blacks on a WOLED panel, and this was something I noticed even with minimal room lighting. Even in a pitch black room, I felt as though the light emanating off of the screen was lifting the black levels and killing contrast. That said, most don't seem to mind it as much as I do.
