The best part of this movie was when the Epic Voice guy said the Awful Waffle Falafel. So thank you Screen Junkies, for inserting something meaningful into this movie, even if it was 3rd party and 20 years late.

If you ever do Bumblebee Honest Trailer you have got to poke fun at Epic Voice Guy's work in the film...maybe even recreate the work he did in the film. Aaaahhh aaaah

Still think Sean Connery turning down Lord of the Rings and doing The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Not exactly the same situation as Sean Connery turned down LOTR because he didn't understand it and decided to do the next movie he didn't understand but still a very similar situation, except League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was so bad Connery retired from acting.
and I am happy that he did, Will Smith acting is Just Will being Will.
It would have been such a different movie with Will Smith instead of Keanu.
Not only did Will Smith do this so Keanu could do the Matrix, but he also dropped Django so Jamie Foxx could do it.
Will Smith has been lowkey building an anti-career out of dodging good movies so better-fitting actors can take the parts.
Can't help but wonder what other sacrifices he's made in the shadows for the betterment of our entertainment....
According to Tarantino, they met and he decided that Will just wasn't right for the part. So it's a he said/he said scenario and I guess you can decide who to believe.

He dropped Django because he felt he wasn't the star. "It needs to be about me!" He kept saying. Django was the star, Will couldn't see it. Hey, his blindness helps us out sometimes.

Turning it down didn't hurt his career and it revitalized Keanu's so it's all good.
Pretty solid idea that if Will Smith hadn't turned down the matrix, John Wick wouldn't be.
Will Smith is a good/great sometimes actor, but I don't think it'd turn out as well with him in it. Keanu's still emotionless mannerisms added to the seriousness, sadness, shock of that world.
Yeah, Smith himself admitted this. Reeves was perfect for the role, with Will Smith the movie would have an entirely different vibe.
Not gonna lie, I NEVER noticed Will Smith ever had an accent in Wild Wild West
He had it for the first half and then it slowly gets weeded out along the way.

Honestly, I assume this is the reason a lot of actors turn down "big" roles. They just don't see themselves as good fits, not necessarily that they think the movie script/idea is bad.
@Black Ninja I just can't see Will Smith saying the line," I know Kung Fu". He's an amazing actor but the Matrix doesn't sync with him.
Same with Sean Connery and Gandalf. He said himself the script made no sense to him, so he wasn't interested.

I don't know about that. Keanu's career has resurged several times. (Remember _Speed?)_ If the Matrix hadn't come along, something else would have. One thing that's been constant about his career is how much everyone wants to work with him. That plus his lifelong love of action movies meant he would have ended up almost purely an action star no matter which movie put him in that position.

2 things, the legless jokes are a call and repeat running gag. Loveless says something racist, West makes his jokes.
And 2nd, Loveless is the person that set the tank that killed West's family, so a wheelchair did in fact kill someone he loved.

it was actually meant for the unmade "superman lives" movie that was supposed to be directed by tim burton and starring nicolas cage as superman/clark kent. peters was the producer of that project and all the funds that was meant for "superman lives" went to "wild wild west" w/ that large-ass spider.

Omg I love batman and robin too!!!
But they bash the movies with hilarious quips instead of dry, hateful ranting. That takes some effort and a sense of humor, unlike reading comments from trolls or haters. Plus, the more funny quips they use the more likely they enjoy the movie be it good or bad.
