I find it very funny that will smith has a rap career where he doesn't use profanity but in pretty much every movie every other line is profanity.
Not every other movie, just his earlier comedy action flicks
When you get into the mindset of a guy who thinks it's easier to teach oil rig workers to be astronauts than astronauts to work a drill, this actually makes a lot of sense, and is even kind of impressive.

Ha...no. Bad Boys is more than action, it's about the charisma that can propel movies to the stratosphere. Only Will has that at this level.

Bad Boys is basically a montage of Michael Bay movies.
Yeah I know these are "Bad (Boys)" films, I love them with all their faults and still rewatch them now and again. M & M with Captain Countdown are just FUN. WOOOW!!
Believe it or not, they drop the "s" word several more times than they do the "f" word... Tried doing a drinking game to that once in college. Most of us didn't make it past the first half of the movie.

Honest Trailer: Every David Lynch Movie?
I'm honestly not sure his movies are formulaic enough that it would be possible. I mean, sure, you could do it with Lost Highway / Blue Velvet / Mullholland Dr / Inland Empire, but how do you fit Elephant Man in there? Dune? A Straight Story? He throws some curveballs in there. Not to mention the utter WTF that is Eraserhead.
(Well, really, it's his weird movies that are curveballs, so it'd probably be more accurate to say he throws straight balls in there.)

Question for commentary: Why do you think these sort of 90 action movies / buddy cop movies don't resonate these days? Hitman's Bodyguard tried (and is apparently getting a sequel) but for the most part people don't seem interested. Did we overdo it in the 90s? Will they make a comeback?
The heat, Spy, 21 Jump Street, Zootopia. There's still good/succesful buddy cop movies being made they just don't look like they used to.
