I smashed the thumbs up the minute I saw how long this was!!!!!! These are the deep deep cuts that I’m talking about. Bourdain would be proud that you all are hitting the places that are less traveled. No tourists, locals only! Respect and keep the series coming!!!
Please don’t let this series end! There’s so much to offer in Chinese cuisine. I don’t live in US but this is seriously giving me food cravings in a lockdown
Keep up the series. My wife and I visit NYC every Saturday to visit your recommendations . We hit a minimum of 4 spots per visit. You haven't made any mistakes. Thanks and good luck in your future endeavors.
Definitely keep this series going. Love how you guys highlight the hidden/unknown spots. FYI, that fun see dish that reminded you of your dad's cooking looked like it was made with fuzzy squash & not wintermelon (which is very delicate/translucent when cooked )
You guys are doing what i and a friend wanted to do when we were in high school in the late 90s. I wanted to try every restaurant. This is great to see.
This Best Cheap Eats series CANNOT STOP!!!!! Not only its entertaining but makes me freakin hungry even when I just ate a full meal. You guys are going to make me Fat!!! But it's worth it hehehe!!!
Definitely continue the series. Living in the woods of North Idaho, an Asian food desert, I enjoyed seeing the variety of foods. Maybe one day I’ll get to try some.
Thank you for showing person behind the food that our community bright 🌞 🙏🏼... personal greeting with them is very warming.. and yes , more of these videos maybe to $15 or $18 .. again thank you.
at the end its about supporting the extra hard workers who offer food for the majority of your community and others. Might as well give them some advertisements
Yo you guys are gonna end up visiting every single restaurant in chinatown at this point and I'm all about it. Sad to see so many shops closed in the East Broadway mall tho.
Good to see number #10. You expanded price-wise to about $15, good idea. There were about 5 stops that I will add to my to-go list! Funny BBQ's lunch specials looked especially interesting!

RIGHT NEXT TO THE BUS STATION &I CAN JUMP RIGHT ON &GO TO NEW YORK ,IT WILL TAKE 2 HOURS NOT BAD!!!IM GOING TO WRITE DOWN SOME OF THESE PLACES AND TAKE A GIRLFRIEND AND GO AND TRY THE FOOD!!!,,,SOOOO THANX👍👍👍🤩😍🥰❤💕💙
Well all the cooks and employees are immigrants who dont speak English and get paid way below minimum wage. That is what people ignore about Chinatown.
干锅gan guo in Sichuan has to have a main entree, most likely some type of meat, and some veggie at the bottom. Ma La Xiang Guo is an adaptation of it in other regions of China.
Man I don't even live in NYC, I'm on the other side of the state... but love seeing all these Chinatown cheap eats that I can't get to right now. Keep this series going guys... so I know where to go when I go visit my gunggung and puapua next time I hit up Brooklyn
Please keep up the good work. It is important that we look out for ourselves and have room to lookout for our brothers and sisters and make sure they are at least somewhat looked after. Weird psychosocial behavior is when people don't like each other, bullying happens. They like to have your own turn against you. We don't need certain smartphones we don't want to bully and we don't want to be bullied....you know what I mean. It was like Jerry S said: take care of yourselves and each other. Kill it with kindness. Love you Fung Bros.
Love this series so much! I can't wait to go to NY and try all this food. Hmm I doubt you're running out of places.. but if you are, you could try to slightly raise the max level to like $15 or something?
In this video they are talking about Taiwanese foods and in all my years in NYC I have never seen or heard of a Taiwanese restaurant, but there's a lot of, Chinese restaurants around and usually I go to Chinatown and QUEENS is to far as I would have to take 4 different trains too get there, and it takes about a hour and a half one way,but in Chinatown I take 2 trains which I can accept and I usually listen to music or play with the internet and soon they are going to wire wifi underground as reported and usually everyone is playing with their cellphone and noone bothers anyone to be respectful of each other
I smashed the thumbs up the minute I saw how long this was!!!!!! These are the deep deep cuts that I’m talking about. Bourdain would be proud that you all are hitting the places that are less traveled.
