This crossover suv has been designed by Peter Schreyer who has been involved in designing Audi TT and other Audi Models. He joined Kia/Hyundai in 2012 and the Tucson was designed in their studios in Germany. The Tucson is very quiet and quick and has very mature road manners since it is a monocoque bodyshell made with high strength steel sourced from Hyundai’s own steel plants. The big muscle Fortuner/Endeavour suvs are truck derived and built as body on frame construction which gives them aerodynamics of a bungalow, heavy and actually not very spacious since the ladder frame takes up a lot of space but obviously can’t be seen from the outside ( these are indeed great machines of which I too am a fan hence no offence meant please). On the Lucknow-Agra expressway I have experienced how the Fortuners and Endeavours lose their breath much short of 200 kmph ! I am glad it’s not too popular since today parking lots are full of multiple copies of the same kind !
Reason why Fortuner/Endeavour struggle to reach 200 km/h is because of the weight (Fort ~2.7 tonnes/Endy ~2.5 tonnes). Besides, both these SUVs are built for a different purpose. Conquering difficult terrains and bad roads with absolute ease which a normal cannot do. They are not meant for accelerating like crazy at triple digits speeds on the highway.
I am driving this car for last 3 years and ride quality and comfort is awsome ...seamless gear shifting, front and back seats comfort, absolutely noise free cabin, power in abundance are few of the qualities which comes to top of my mind.
I like the tucson a lot its my favourite crossover suv.But they lacks features like ventilated seats and the sunroof.It is also available in cheaper cars like verna and the elantra. Even the creta has the sunroof.The creta also gets wireless charging and smart band in which the Tucson lacks.

Yes hamare pass hai tuscon but competitors ke samne muzhe thoda interior basic lagta hai tuscon ka pr bahut hi reliable gadi hai which is good.
2019 Updated Tucson mein sunroof de diya hai. No idea about ventilated seats.
I have a 2019 Tucson and yes it has panaromic moonroof but no ventilated seats that's the only disappointed but the AC of this car is rock solid

Tucson mileage sucks. I own a petrol gls awd 2016. After 3 years the mileage has dropped to 5.5 kms/ltr despite proper check by hyundai technicians.
May be the stock tyre is to be blamed for mileage reduction. Many have broken radials issue with stock tyres. Possibly that is causing drag
