I love my MG4! I have the 60 LBV7 and I’m selling my 54-10S and 58-12D to get the TW grind in the 56. My gap is a p790 set wedge. Personally I think they feel better and the weight is perfect.also the lbv grind is like nothing vokey has same as the TW 56. Plus the heel relief on the mg4 is really good for me. I don’t get along with wide full soles. Even my 790s feel a little to wide for me. I learned with irons that had a very narrow sole. Like ridiculously narrow and if the old school graphite what’s weren’t like pool noodles, I could still play them today

For me playing both it seems that mg4 favors the sweeper type wedge player and the vokey is better for someone that digs. As a sweeper I tend to see more thin blade shots on tight lie with the vokey. Vokey has more forgiveness on the sand and deep lies for some players

Played Vokeys for years, but stopped playing them when I got my hands on the MG3s and I plan on getting the MG4s too. Up in the northeast where I play its typically more firm than it is soft so I carry a low bounce option in my lob wedge due to how much I utilize it around the greens, but I like to have some versatility in the set so I keep a higher bounce sand wedge. I also go 50,55,60. Super curious to what you think about shaft weight and flex transitioning from the irons into the wedges. I understand there are pros who like to keep same weight and a lighter flex for some added feel and there are also guys that keep it somewhat the same. What do you do in that aspect?

I have the SM9’s which are great, but I feel my MG2’s were more forgiving from like 80-115 yards

I played mg2 and mg3 then I hit a buddies sm8 and fell in love. I now play sm9 56 d grind and Wedgeworks 60 low bounce k grind. Can control my trajectory and spin a lot better on my vokeys
