    The wedges Rick’s demonstrating today cost more than the entire set of clubs my brother gave me. He said he purchased them from Kmart 20 years ago thinking he was going to start golfing but never did.

    I bought the club based on your review. It's literally the worst golf club I have ever bought in my life! So much rust the grooves! The sharpness is completely gone from the grooves due to the rust! Cannot get the club to bite for nothing!

    • @Daniel-xx3eh
      @Daniel-xx3eh 3 месяца назад +1

      Pretty sure that was the point, for them to rust cuz they say rust gives more spin. So they did exactly as they said they would

    • @yourbestgolf365
      @yourbestgolf365 2 месяца назад

      @@Daniel-xx3ehlet's kill that myth now, rusty wedges DO NOT spin more. You want clean grooves to disperse grass, moisture etc. People see tour players spin than ball and notice their wedges are rusty so they think that's what's causing the spin. All the rust does is cut down glare, and sometimes they can feel slightly softer because they are raw, no chrome or other coating

    • @yourbestgolf365
      @yourbestgolf365 2 месяца назад

      Hit two shots out of the sand and the excess rust will be gone. You don't want rust build up, it's for aesthetics. The rust does not create spin. That's all up to you and the quality of your strike

    • @Daniel-xx3eh
      @Daniel-xx3eh 2 месяца назад

      @@yourbestgolf365 I’m just saying what they say, I don’t own them or ever used them so I can’t debate. Some pros say rusty wedges add more spin. In my experience rust can be rough which could be grippy but idk I don’t play enough to know.

    • @yourbestgolf365
      @yourbestgolf365 2 месяца назад

      @@Daniel-xx3eh That has been around for years but is simply not true. It's one of those things that refuses to go away. The raw club head COULD help add spin over a chrome covered head though

    Rick, Great information as always. Since this was a few months ago, I wonder how the 2024 wedges, like the Mizuno T24s. I’m going out to try them all. I need new wedges. Keep the videos coming.

    Just got my 54 and 58 vokeys, tried them out during the weekend and loved them. Wouldn’t mind a 56 to add to the bag 😂

    Thanks for the review Rick. I actually won a club from your other channel a year or two ago; They never sent the club I suppose because I was located in Asia and not the U.K ?? Not your fault and again thanks for this channel and you reviews.

    It is great that there are so many good wedge options now. I have never got on with Vokey. I have no idea why this is the case. My current wedges are the HI-Toe. I would have loved to see the Vokey in wet conditions. Yes there was a drop in numbers on the TaylorMade but I wonder what if the drop off would have been the same, better or worse from the Vokey. Thanks for the review Rick.

    Awesome review as always. I noticed you were at about 3 mph slower with the club and ball wet. Could that be from it sliding on the face before launching or you swinging slower?

    I would take both any day of the week. What is the feel difference between either and the Indio wedge. Because I bought the Indio wedge based on our review of them and I find the wedge very head heavy and slightly out of balance versus my Irons. Thanks for the review Rick!

    Subscribed! Currently using the Kirkland wedges and my playing partners roast me, so I could benefit from that wedge!!

    I’d love to be able to give my dad that Vokey wedge. He has loved them since he’s been playing and had to sell them a few years back but has been wanting to get a 56 degree back. Keep it up with the videos I love them
