    Trevor and Tayte are currently assessing six distinct wedges. Among the wedges they'll be evaluating are the Titleist Vokey SM9, TaylorMade Milled Grind 4, Cleveland RTX6, Mizuno T24, Miura K-Grind 2.0, and PXG Sugar Daddy. Each of these clubs offers exceptional qualities, and the ideal choice largely hinges on your individual playing style. Keep in mind that their assessment reflects their personal opinions, and if you have a differing perspective, please don't hesitate to share it with us!
    Titleist Vokey SM9 - Our most technologically advanced wedge design is tailored for precise contact, a lower flight, and higher spin. SM9, in my opinion, boasts seven unique grinds to assist players in achieving flawless contact, enabling us to execute a wide range of wedge shots under varying conditions.
    TaylorMade Milled Grind 4 - The Milled Grind 4 wedge employs laser-etched Spin Tread and a raw face for enhanced grip on the greens and exceptional spin performance, especially in damp conditions. The refined design not only delivers a sleek and artistic appearance but also encourages a sense of ingenuity around the greens. Additionally, the improved weight distribution ensures a solid and consistent feel, making it a top choice for players.
    Cleveland RTX6 - the new RTX 6 ZipCore Wedges to unleash the highest level of spin performance all over the golf course, from the fairway to the rough, bunkers, and even in wet conditions.
    Mizuno T24 - Crafted through Grain Flow Forging in Hiroshima, Japan, the focus is on achieving exact shaping and an unparalleled finesse around the green. These wedges now feature QUADCUT+ grooves for enhanced spin, accompanied by a selection of five distinct sole profiles.
    Miura K-grind 2.0 - The K-Grind is designed to produce better results from a variety of conditions. The sole is fluted which bears a striking resemblance to finger tip impressions. These channels reduce the resistance against the wedge in sand, thick rough and fairways, delivering great contact and better results
    PXG Sugar Daddy - PXG 0311 Sugar Daddy II Wedges are artfully engineered for optimal bounce, insane accuracy, and fine-tuned stopping power. These wedges are 100% milled and feature Full Face Grooves, High Toe Weighting and two innovative sole designs so you can elevate your short game and lower your score.

    Great video guys! I play the Mizuno currently, had the rtx in the bag a couple of years ago. Cleveland makes some legit wedges! The mizzy imo blends very nicely with my 921 forged irons. Keep it rolling guys, enjoying the content!

    Another great content as usual. Best part is I just had a wedge fitting and had to choose between the RTX 6 and MG4, ended up going with the Cleveland (once funds saved) mostly cause I liked the feel a little better with them over MG4. Since I also work at keeping my clubs looking clean and nice as possible and with the raw face I will always look down and see what would appear to be a dirty wore out club.
    My rank would be pretty much the same as that was almost the same as my fitting minus the Miura which was not available to test.

    Just switched from Vokey to Cleveland this year. Seems slightly heavier and easier to feel where the club head is and more forgiving. I nearly bought the Taylormade M3 but RTX6 edged it out. Maybe the M4 would have been better.

    Sorry guys but not the best comparison. Seems like this video should be called best feeling wedge. Ball flight, workability, forgiveness, spin, distance, value, turf interaction, etc. This should be a better measure. Even the “winner” you said was because of the zipcore in wet conditions and the “technology” of full face even though you admitted it didn’t come in full face grooves. You didn’t hit any of the other wedges in wet condition. Why did it win again? 🤷‍♂️

    • @embersgolf
      @embersgolf  7 месяцев назад

      We have another full video testing the wet condition wedges that preceded this test so we already knew the Zipcore won that. The full face wedges with that tech may not be here yet… 🤫
      These are all phenomenal wedges but will vary greatly depending on who is holding them. Sorry we didn’t make it more clear. We appreciate the watch and the comment Jamiem
