    Am on my 2nd set of Mizuno T-20 56 & 60 (blue & raw) and love them. I am looking forward to the T-24s for the next go round.

    My T22 wedges have bedded in just nice after 1 1/2 seasons . Initially the green side spin was a bit excessive when chipping as the release was a bit harsh , but now they roll a yard further when landed but chipping is so smooth as the ball releases out to a smooth and consistent roll just like a putt . And yes if you want you can hero it dead stop or pull it back 10 feet on a full shot with any of the 3 wedges 50/54/58

    Just picked up a 54 and 58 in the Denim Copper
    They are a work of art. #nothingfeelslikeamizuno is 💯. They go great with MP 221/225 combo set of irons. Thank you for the review.

    I've been playing Mizuno wedges since the T7s. They have been underrated IMO but are gaining in popularity. I'll be upgrading again for next season here in 🇨🇦.

    I play the T22 46 & 52....... I'm interested in the T24 as a high loft wedge...like the extra heel relief when I drop my hands... Cheer's

    played many yrs with copper Cleveland wedge. So soft feeling that I had to commit to flying it closer to the hole, knowing that the ball would not roll out as far as the avg wedge. Nice once you get calibrated.

      It’s a very good point in relation to getting familiar with that softer feel

    Dear Mr. A.G. Just want to tell you I love your videos. Thank you for the content and the way in which you deliver information on Golf. Well done mate. I would definitely love to play the Mizuno wedges. They look amazing. At present I play an old TaylorMade RAC OS 55deg S wedge. It has a similar grind to the Mizuno V and since it's a cast Stainless Steel matt finish, it just never wears out. I can put the ball anywhere I want cause I've played that club for 15 yrs. Maybe the Mizunos one day.

    Great review. Playing 923 HM-HL, would these be good to finish set or r these more blade type?

    Only have 1 vokey an old sm7 48’in the bag the rest Cleveland which do take a lot of beating especially at their price point

    Andy, do you prefer these or the 23’s. I’m keen on both but have nowhere to test. I’m a similar standard to you and play 225 pro irons.
    Thanks mate and I hope you have continued success with your channel

    Andy, Do you think the T24 and the Vokey SM9 are equal Forgiveness wise?
    Also, when do the New SM 10 come out?
    Thanks!

    • @TheAverageGolfer
      @TheAverageGolfer  9 месяцев назад +1

      I am not sure I would describe either wedge as forgiving and not something I would be expecting from this type of wedge, no idea on SM10 sorry

    Do you rate them as good as the SM9 Vokeys torn between the two

  • @ssmith954
    @ssmith954 8 месяцев назад +1

    Vokeys do feel great for a cast club, but to me Mizuno forged feel much better. For me it's a confidence thing -- Vokeys can feel clicky and a bit unpredictable off the face. The Mizuno feel and feedback gives an impression of more control. It's very subjective of course -- because objectively, once calibrated/dialed in, I'm sure they are almost identical in terms of performance. Overall it's great to have such fantastic options.

    Is the taylormade hi toe a better club?

    • @ssmith954
      @ssmith954 8 месяцев назад +1

      Have tried both. The TM feels excellent, the Mizuno feels better and has better feedback. The TM is a little more forgiving, the Mizuno, once dialed in (which requires commitment), is more precise. Mizuno has more options. Best advice is to try both -- they're both excellent options. I have Mizunos, but when I mess up a shot I sometimes lust after the TM!

    1020 forged cannot be beaten. 8620 forged just as good, but most wedges are 8620 cast
