I was 1000% just thinking the same thing. I have always loved Chris. He is a big part of the reason I keep gravitating towards Mizuno. My 50 degree is a T24 and I'm using this video to confirm which grinds I want for my 54 and 58 when I upgrade those to T24s. I know that my best set of irons is going to be Mizuno.
I just watched a different run through on grinds before this one. That wedge brand begins with 'Vo' and ends with 'ey'. They had nearly twice as many grinds, spent much less time explaining each one, with virtually no structured context to bounce etc. Grind ended up like a sales gimmick and my head spinning more than the ball. This is much more useful. Not only is he good at explaining, he can demonstrate too.
I love the products there just isn’t many places local that stock much, I could order through the stores but that can be a pain. I wish mizuno would offer a better website for their golf line along with custom options like Taylormade.
A Taylormade towel on the Mizuno golf bag in a Mizuno Product video, oops! I know it was mostly obscured but the font and lettering was very identifiable. I love my T24 wedges, I sold my Vokey's to buy them, the feel and control is wonderful.
Just started playing my new t24s yesterday where have they been all my life, yes there is some adjusting to do like any clubs, but seriously they are unreal I'm a very happy customer. Pure quality butter feel worth every penny, Vokeys are great but bye bye, the main thing for me was how quickly the confidence was there, just my opinion and yes I was fitted. I've never been a great wedge player or wait just not a good player period, but now I feel pretty confident and actually excited to hit wedge shots, hopefully that confidence starts spreading throughout the bag lol
If you must have that number to feel confident. Buy the 52/10 S grind and bend it two degrees week and viola 54/12 My guess would be the 54/08 D grind will play more forgiving (as if it has more effective bounce due to being wider with less trail edge relief)
This is the best video ive ever seen for understanding the grind and bounce of wedges, why and where you use them. Outstanding.
The thing about Chris is....he makes me want to play Mizuno.
These are absolutely slept on

Nobody knows wedges quite like Chris. Loved the explanation here!
Chris is the reason I changed from ping to mizuno.
Thank you Chris, I look forward to testing them at my next Mizuno fitting day.
Perfect explanation. Helped me pick the appropriate configuration for my new T24. 56 degree V grind FTW!
By far my favorite wedges I've ever owned. Changed my game.
dropped the vokeys and kitted myself with 56 and 60 T24s.....love them.
This is the best video ever - thanks so much for explaining everything
Great to see Chris! Sort of felt like he had been missing from some of the recent promotional / product videos.
Amazing video great work on this topic
Can we talk about that camo bag 🔥

Best wedges on the market. So good, someone stole my 56 and 60’s!

My next wedges
I volunteer for a wedge fitting with Chris!
Great explanation, but what about bunker play. I want a V Grind I think, but will it perform in soft sand?
Do you have a heavy graphite shaft as a stock option such as Steelfiber 125, recoil 125 for example? Thanks

It's a Golf Pride towel we promise!
Graphite shafts available without a silly higher price?
Can all grinds play square face full shots? Looking at 54 degree wedge C grind. It's on offer. I need a stock 100 yard shot, square face.
D grind is better for full shots and still can be opened up

Will you send me some wedges so I can do some mid/high handicap comparison video??
Why there is no 54/12 sandwedge in Mizuno offer?
